I mean, I wouldn't complain if they did, it'd let me do the full amount of Ixal quests along with Moogles and Namazu for leveling jobs, but I also don't really see the need to. There isn't really any reason to continue a tribe once its done unless you want one of the reagents they sell for beast currency, or its the aforementioned crafting tribes for leveling crafting jobs

If they did you can get reards would be cut to compensate. Lvl 70 gets you 350k xp from the kojin for example (or near enough) so doing them and ananta gets you about 2.1m xp, if they were to allow you to get 4.2m from doing 4 sets ..well you’d probably not get 4.2m. They’d probably half it so you still got 2.1m but for all 12 allowances instead of the current 6 it would take.
Similar to praetorium, had a run today where people discussed getting cutscenes back, they also thought they’d keep the 11m xp I got though which wouldn’t happen if we could skip again. The xp is the reward for the time spent or limited nature of the task. you can’t keep one and change another, there needs to be a balance. Did People not learn anything from Thanos?
I think the exp they give should be similar to the Shadowbringers' system or significantly boost the reputation points they give you. Allowances are not that bad since you can still do 4 of them every day, but I lack the motivation when you only get a mount after all the work.
I think the best middle ground would be to add a new allowance that is only usable while you are building up reputation. Basically have the 12 we have now on top of another 3 per expansion to help speed up the process. This would give you 24 in total however that additional 9 would only be applicable if you are able to gain reputation from completing the quest.
Given the rewards they give, I don't see it really necessary. Just do them as you gain access to them and you should have little trouble capping them out before growing out of them (Barring the ARR ones with how late they start...). If you're already capped on them, there's little point in doing ones below your level range too.
Because most dungeons, ran as fast as you can go, are often done somewhere within the 10 to 20 minute vicinity. Average time? About 20-25 minutes, and that might actually be a little on the long side. Praetorium, skipping all the cutscenes, could be done in about 15-20 minutes. Now that you can't skip cutscenes, it takes close to an hour. So yes, they upped the rewards because the average time for completion skyrocketed.

This would let you do, say, the 2 relevant ones and a bunch of old ones which dont give meaningful XP but still give rep, as a way for people to catch up on the 11 (14 by the end of this expansion) beast tribes out there.
I say only apply the 12 daily limit to the current and one xpac prior. So in this case you could do as many ARR and HW ones you wanted in a day. SB and when ShB comes out you're limited to the 12.
I agree with you OP. There are so many beast tribes right now that it makes this hard to do with that low of allowances for someone that is new.
Maybe a compromise could be made and only the newest ones use allowances and the rest is just restricted by the amount of quest each one has.
I'm honestly not sure why you're considering it hard to do. I mean, like I said before, I'm not against the idea purely on an Ixal/Moogle/Namazu crafter leveling point of view, but I've only just been getting into repping up all the Beast Tribes on this character, and, well, it *isn't* hard, just time consuming. You can focus on 2 ARR tribes at a time, or up to 4 HW/SB tribes at a time. Knock them out, move on to the next.
If it can be done without touching the reward then that'd be cool, at least for old ones I imagine it'd be more of a hard no for new ones since the point is to spread the content.
If they can't remove the cost and keep the reward amount then perhaps you can do quests as much as you want but if you don't have an allowance then the reward is greatly reduced (besides rank points, so you can quickly level old tribes still).

Agreed. The limit made sense in ARR when new quests appeared at higher ranks, but from HW on there are only 3 quests per tribe per day in the first place. All the limit does right now is make it that much more time consuming for new players to ever catch up.
^ This. And /maybe/ keep allowances for the crafting beast tribes but honestly these days the amount of money you get from roulettes alone is enough to buy a 1-50 levekit after 3 days of grinding, with the only issue there being the artificial limits they've put on levemetes.
Or just raise the maximum. FFS we have how many new tribes and will get more and we've been at 12 total for how long now??
Yea, Some of my crafters are still running with the Ixal. When they move up to the Moogles, it's going to be really slow leveling them with just 3 allowed per day. I may actually have to start making stuff to level them (After spending hours gathering the mats.)
Not like I mind if they change it but is one of those things to keep people busy for a longer period of time and also prevent someone for "feel forced" to do all every single day. I will prefer a cap of 12 per expansion perhaps.
