No Aesthetician on the 1st?

I found it strange that there's no Aesthetician in the inn room on the 1st. Could have had our pixie friend change our 'glamour' or something. Maybe add this feature in future?

It's kind of a pain. I don't wanna teleport back to the source whenever I'm chilling in the Crystarium ;w;

.. I am curious, how often do most people change their hairstyles? It took me about 2 years to use the 2 vouchers I got. I understand some people enjoy the new hairstyles that release. But.. every single place we have an inn? Is this a daily thing?

Some of us are more indecisive lol. I have been known to spend 50k at the aesthetician some days, not always for hair either. I've tweaked my eyebrows, hair and makeup more times than I can count. Usually to go "nah" and change back to my original look again. Followed by "well maaaaybe if I change that instead, a little more pink perhaps". And then "NAH" lol. I can't be the only one.

Not daily, but I'm changing mine at least every other month.

Just teleport to your house/apartment if you have a crystal bell? It's always mega cheap compared to teleporting to anywhere else (unless you return or have a free destination), so I really don't see the problem.

Weekly! And I always mess something up the first time so each visit is automatically 4,000 gil for me. Maybe their is a lore reason for the Aesthetician not being in the first? It is a pain but I just teleport back to my apartment for it.

Can we just...move to the first? I like that world so much better than Eorzea. XD Even if it is a bit vacuous and not very decorated. (But yeah, more inns w/ aesthetician, please.)

Sometimes I change my hair on the hourly depending on the outfit.

I dunno about lore, I'm not saying there shouldn't be one, and honestly the presence of a "alternate" aesthetician shouldn't be hard to write in (it would even FUNNIER if it was a clone of someone super deadpan from the source, Merwyb cutting hair.. XD ), I just wondered if this was an urgent thing for a lot of people... and it seems it is. Y'all change looks like I repair gear.

I can't speak for others, but the aesthetician has himself steady work with me as a client xD. I like to give the impression the my character's hair grows, gets cut, and loses the color of dye over time for a bit more immersion and realism. How frequent I change just depends. It isn't always daily but definitely multiple times per week. The inns not having a crystal bell was one of the first things I noticed about the first when exploring the Crystarium.

I pretty much change hairstyle and/or colour multiple times per week. That's also the reason why I fantasia'd away from Ronso very quickly

I mean, surely people get haircuts on the First. It doesn't even need to be Jandelaine.

I've tried to change my hairstyle about 5 times now. And I say "tried" because nothing else fits my character. Except one. And I don't have that one. And it's not available anywhere right now. And that makes me sad. GIVE US RAINMAKER!

Really though the reason for not having it on the First is probably A.) To have some incentive to still go back to the Source (and thus possibly spend more gil if you aren't using things like the portal to Mor Dhona) and B.) Because it ultimately isn't as important compared to things like retainers. and C.) Probably because of the cutscene you get before and after you go for the hair cut/other changes, wouldn't surprise me if that was a little more work compared to your retainers appearing outside of one.

It's probably an example of lore getting in the way of gameplay. I imagine the lack of FC chests on the first is for the same reason.

Here's to hoping they expand the Aesthetician's features when they bring him over to the First.

I wish we could buy the regular dyes in the first too.

People on the First just don't care about these superficial things.

Humm actualy I could totaly imagine a "first version" of the hairdresser living in Eulmore, just like Gerolt have a boring counterpart.

See, I can't say this is true at all considering we have LITERALLY Gerolt only with long hair. They could have done something.

The aesthetician can't travel to the 1st though. Perhaps give the job to Feo-Ul? Include some witty banter and double the cost too.

There are several ways they could write in an aesthetician on The First. It's a shame the inn room there doesn't have one because if it weren't for that it would probably be the best one in the game (especially in terms of lighting).

Feo Ul should function as the Aesthetician. However its like hitting random all when you do it.

I mean, she is a pixie. That do things like that.

They'll likely add the asthetician eventually with a mini quest to unlock it down the line. Probably will get added after 5.1 or something if enough people request it, unlike the retainers adding one to the first would be relatively straightforward.

The Aesthetician probably turned into a sin eater and we probably killed him without knowing.

Honestly, the way Jandelaine acts when he's a story character rather than a game function, we're lucky it's not "hit random" in the first place. He doesn't ask, he doesn't tell people what he's planning... and somehow people are always happy with the result.

(I have headcanon that he's got a weak version of the Echo that gives him insight into what someone needs, regardless of what they want.)

We already have, she's in Eulmore to the left of the materia vendors

They can add another asthetician with a own quest to unlock in the First. Make it a lv 80 quest. With exclusive haircuts that don't exist in the Source.

Several times per year and I'd change it more if there were better options.

It was a bit odd that this wasn't added to the First. I figured they could just say "well, that guy can't traverse rifts in space time, but Feo Ul can!" and just have her in charge of it.
