Is it possible to copy your UI/hotbars/etc to a new character?

I would love for this to be a built-in feature, especially since (to my understanding at least) PS4 users don't have the option to copy/paste files like that. I was hoping that the server backup function would have that kind of functionality included with it, but unfortunately not. It's always a pain making a new alt and having to reconfigure my UI again and again.

I just wish there was a way to copy bars between jobs. I recently matched bars between my miner and botanist, and it was a major pain because most of the same abilities has different names and icons, so it took forever to match them up.

My crafters are a mess right now, and it's not worth matching them because they're all at different levels. I just wish there was a way to "copy" the bars, but have the destination bars fill with the equivalent abilities as the source.

/hotbar copy JOB1 BARNUM JOB2 BARNUM
or if controller, /chotbar copy JOB1 BARNUM JOB2 BARNUM

You can even copy one crafting class's bars to the other 7 and it'll work fine. Set up your highest class, then copy it to the others. The eight class-specific versions of each ability will work themselves out, since on crafters they all have the same name.

Yes, I was hoping the server upload function would work like that, too. But alas, no. You can only upload/download for the same character, which is really only useful in those rare circumstances where you play on a different console than normal.

Replace JOB1/JOB2 with SHARED if the target/source bar is a shared one.

I usually just copy over ADDON.DAT and HOTBAR.DAT to the newly created folder. I think Addon is the UI/HUD? It seems to do the trick for me :)

I think it's under the character selection screen - you right-click on your character and it should be there. Or I think it's a gear symbol and when you click on it, it should ask you if you want to upload your settings. It should be somewhere there. I can't check now, since i'm in a train. Hope it somewhat helps.

Oh, and i'm not sure if it works on the same computer. Worth a try though.

Yes, but just "share", though.

e.g.,

/hotbar copy pld 8 share 8

So silly that you can upload your character settings to the server, but not download them on anything else and instead got to rely on manually transferring the files across character.
