Error 2002

Hi i just had 2 error 2002 in a row, after disconnecting from the game, i tryed to log back in but it just came up with the errors insted an just closed my game. I dont know what to do from here, do i just keep trying to log in or wait.

Same problem here. I was playing when i suddenly get disconnected. Since then, i am unable to reconect as i get a 2002 error each time i try.

I just tryed again but with another datacenter but still the same error. :)

Was playing nicely on Phoenix then got hit by lag in Eulmore and since then unable to log in or stay logged in. Constant error 2002. Sometimes it lets me load in then immediatly disconnects. My internet is working fine, so it isn't that.

Getting a bit annoying now, since its been like this for 30 minutes.

Same on Ps4 Pro, I was in dungeon, I'm log back 3->5 time, lag and dc again or error 2002/90002.

Finally after 35 minutes of constantly trying, I was able to login.

Spoke to soon! got disconnected as I typed this -.-

It's happening now, lots of people get disconnected and have this errors too

Is there some unannounced maintenance going on? couse it was so abrupt and considering its affecting all realms, that does seem to be a option.
that or a hacker attack, might be why nothing official has been announced so far.

On Cerberus, same happend. Lag then DC and unable to reconnect since....

Yeah, Either server hamsters pooped out or its some third party attack =/ eitherway, its irritating.

Yep, same issue here. DC about an hour ago, keep getting same error 2002 upon trying to log back in.

Same on ragnarok.
I managed to connect on the sever but 10 sec later => error 90002

Same issue.
Nothing from it on the news....
Lasting for about an hour now.

Yeah im having the same issues, on Lich, most of the time error out with 2002 occasionally get passed that and get a 90006 error

I was helping a friend learn some BLU spells and after a few Ramuh instanced fights I disconnected with a 90002 error.
After a while I tried logging back in but I have been getting 2002 every single time. It won't even let me connect to the data center (I'm on Phoenix).
My other 3 friends I was doing the instances with are online and experience no problems whatsoever.
This is the first time I'm experiencing these issues so I'm a little confused why it's only me.
I checked all my internet settings and it seems there is nothing wrong on my end...? I can still use google, youtube and various other online games.

Just for info, where are you come from?

Yeah seem to get this every day for maybe 20 or 30 minutes, get d/c'ed, log in, few minutes later rinse repeat. Has occurred everyday this week, mostly in the mornings.

Working fine again for me

I'm from Belgium too. Using my VPN to connect another country fixed it for me though.
(Haven't played today yet so I'm not sure it's fixed now).

Happening again, few hours earlier then normal but nonetheless continuously plagued by 90ks and error 2002's.
