Constant disconnects

I'm experiencing constant disconnects on Behemoth. They're happening minutes after I log in. The news said this was resolved.... guess not?

I'm experiencing the same on Leviathan with disconnects. I'm getting some delay and lag before it happens with the red disconnect symbol then I get 90k and the weird thing I'm getting only good connection at character select screen when normally it's excellent.

I'm constantly disconnecting as well, on Exodus (Primal). There was a work-around for the directx11 issue, some weeks back, but I can't find a solution to this crashing thing. The game has become nigh-unplayable because of this issue.

Getting the same as of 6:06pm EDT and for the last 3 hours or so on Lamia. Seems to be a Primal thing.

I'm pretty sure it's a latency/lag problem. It doesn't crash. It's just a disconnect with a considerable amount of lag before it happens.

Balmung here. I've had 6 - 90002 and 90001 disconnects in the last 30min. Definitely a connection issue on the way to the servers I suspect (EST Canada) as only FF14 dropping my connection, everything else appears to be functioning and it usually the disconnects after my lap spikes to the 2000-5000ms levels then boop, dropped.

Midgardsormr here. Not getting disconnected but many freezes and latency is through the roof and has been for the past 2-3 hours

I'm on Sargatanas experiencing disconnects. Sometimes I just got logged in long enough to queue and sometimes I don't even make it that far. When I am connected my latency appears very slow because most combos don't work or have a delay.

The issues haven't gotten better, they have probably gotten worse.

The disconnects are more frequent in instances but lag and latency issues are everywhere. Job quests, Dungeons, PVP, and even fates I have dced on. Its pretty much unplayable for me now :(

Another here from Leviathan as well. Getting server side lag that macros/retainer/players all having spikes of lag constantly. EST Canadian player here. Everything else on my internet connection is working fine (I also work from home doing IT so I'm always watching my connection). It's server side on the SE end sadly. Hoping we can get an ETA on a possible restart or anything of the whole data center?

Same here I'm in Faerie. I'm also getting latency issues and the disconnect sign here and there. It would be fine until I'm doing something important then I just get DC'd... It's only started today for me and I've been told in game it's only been happening to the EST players.

Also having CONSTANT (4+ per hour) 90ks since last night at around 12AM EST. Im having nearly constant 30-40% packet loss on the last couple hops to server. Attached WinMTR Trace.

Windows 10 64 bit, i7 9700k, 16Gb RAM, GTX 970. Wired connection.

I cut out my IP for obvious reasons but I did a tracert if this helps any. The L3 communications node I go through in St. Louis seems to be fine.

I’m on Cactuar, and while I haven’t had any disconnections this afternoon, I have noticed several people in my dungeon parties either disconnecting or having huge lag spikes. I was in Holminster Switch about an hour ago, and our healer disconnected three times. The run after that, the healer lagged out during the last boss and ended up getting caught in AOEs. In my last Dohn Mheg run about ~20 minutes ago, the healer was lagging so much that they were actively teleporting on my screen. Some of my friends in my linkshells were reporting sporadic lag spikes and disconnects since this morning.

I know there were some Network issues with the NA data centers early this morning (from around 3am EST to 7am EST), according to the Lodestone. I wonder if the network is having issues again this afternoon.

The lag is starting to also become an issue, although it was much MUCH worse around 3am this morning on gilgamesh. The Disconnects seemed to always follow right after sudden bursts of lag where nothing was moving expect my character.

And just a couple minutes ago, some more server lag started occurring, though it cleaned itself up seconds after i got my Gif program started up. the Ovim Nanny was delayed for much longer then what i was able to capture.

Famfrit here. Been disconnecting all day with lots of lags mostly in the dungeons.

Zalera player here, have been experiencing huge lag spikes and disconnects with 900012 code every 5-7 minutes all day, in dungeons, main cities...very sad and absolutely unplayable:(

Hyperion player here, been getting disconnects and sent back to the title screen. Its been happening in dungeons, trials, and overworld.

I've been trying to finish a MSQ and it's a duty, I get about 10 minutes into it and everything halts. I die and have to restart.

Created an account just to reply to this thread. I haven't disconnected, but the lag has made the game unplayable at times. Adamantoise server. I don't know about anyone else, but before Shadowbringers was released I had an average ping of 75. Now I average 100 with spikes of 150. Not sure if this is due to a huge influx of players and the servers are being taxed too hard, or what. Full wired connection too, no wifi.

Same. Took me forever to get through a solo duty because I kept disconnecting.

Crystal Datacenter, Mateus server. When I can stay connected, I'm laggy enough that it's very difficult to do duties. However, I do get consistent disconnects every 1-5 minutes or so after login...never very long between them. This has been happening to me mostly this evening after about 3pm EST.

Same time frame, and same data center for me.

I too am having issues. On Gilgamesh.

World servers are fine, but the second I get into an instance/roulette it's random and hit or miss as to whether it'll be stable, rubber-band, or just fully disconnect me. My internet itself is perfectly fine, and it seems like after the fourth hop when running a tracert is when my issues pop up, resulting in Requests Timing Out. From like 1AM-5AM Central Standard Time everything was perfectly fine for me, but when I work up and started playing today, i've had all kinds of issues with the duty servers.

I've been watching a ping plotter since this started around 1pm EST and the server IP and 2 hops right before it (so last 3 hops out of 18 total) have been experiencing a LOT of packet loss.

I am lucky to get past the launcher currently, and when I do I can be in-game for a minute or two before I am sitting there with the inability to use any actions as they're all greyed out, but I can move around, then I get 90kd. It didn't happen until I joined a roulette, after that this is when this all happened.

It would be nice to play the game, since it seems plenty of people aren't having this issue :)

I dunno what's going on but I'm having lag issues too.

Same problem on Lamia. If I don't disconnect entirely, I lag out until everything that's queued up rapidly executes while the client catches up. No lag in any other apps(twitch, etc.).

Gilgamesh here. All day. Haven't dc'd but lag spikes so bad I can't even play. In duties and out in the world.

Everytime i go into a Dungeon or trial 90002 Disconnects within 5 mins of starting it then its constant through the rest of the run.

Siren player. Lag and 900002/900006 disconnects all day. The game is unplayable.

Crystal> Mateus player. Been having constant lag and disconnects since i got on 2 hours ago.

Checking in from Crystal:Zalera. Constant disconnects and major lag spikes literally all day long.

Diablos... can't stay connected to the game more than 10 minutes at a time. Pretty frustrating as this is on going for two days now. Get with it SE.

same problem on exodus. i looked through a bunch of threads looking for fixes, all i found was some fool suggesting i shut off all my antivirus and firewalls and get a million viruses. no thanks! SE please fix this on your end.

I guess I won't be playing anymore tonight because of these disconnects ever time I get into a duty.

Get it together SE. Your game is unplayable.

On Primal on Hyperion. Same issues as everyone. Cant craft, gather or run dungeons. I've been getting DC'ed at least once every 20-30 minutes. Actions take forever to go off.
