Hello Besaid players!!

Hi everyone, I am a new denizen of Eorzea. I look forward to finding some great players that enjoy making meaningful experiences. I don't know about some of you, but I am so tired of WoW.

Hope everyone is enjoying the game ^_^

So, I've decided that, with the addition of the official forums, I should actually become more socially active within our community. With that said; Hello Besaid!

I've held back from posting on any of the fan-site forums and I'm, currently, too lazy to update the provided blog on the Lodestone. Hopefully, this will provide an easy outlet to get to know some of you better.

Yeah unfortunately most of the fansites are dead as far as active communities go now anyways. There will be asshats for sure around here. But the good will out weight the bad IMO with having these forums up.

Seeing a lot of people around here in various discussions representing in a constructive way. Keep it up~

Heyo folks and folkettes.
As much as I hate community forums (there's always too much negativity), I think I'll have to keep up to date on the posting around here since it's the devs main channel of communication to the community now. I doubt I'll be posting too much on these forums as I only post when I have something worthwhile to say.

Since release the community on Besaid has been pretty awesome. I have yet to see any major server drama going on. 6 months in and only 2 people have made my blacklist! I came to FFXIV without friends from previous games joining me for the adventure (hell, I wasn't going to let their choice of game deter me from playing FFXIV), however I've met so many great people I now have loads of new friends to game with every day. Many thanks, people of Besaid.

Anyways, I look forward to hearing the voices of the people on the server I don't see running around on a regular basis. Lets keep the Besaid forums friendly and leave the hating for the General Discussion area :p

Hello everyone!

Like some others here, I've been reluctant to join the forums on the various fansites. There is too much bitterness pouring from them, and I just don't want to be smitten.

I previously played ffxi, but joined Eorzea on a new identity, keeping only my closest of friends. Let memories be memories!

Already have I met some great people in this world, with whom I hope to have lots of fun over the coming years :3

Right now my computer is broken though, so I cannot play until next week, at the earliest ; ;

Hope to have many exciting adventurers with you all when I get it back!

It's true!

Information on many of the server's role-play based linkshells can be found on the Role-Playing Coalition's website (http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/). The website also provides an in-character library, community forum and a calender of in-character events.

With that said, you don't have to be a member of one of these linkshells, or a member of the Role-Playing Coalition, to take part in the fun. Scenes can be found across Eorzea; in both the city limits as well as in the fields and local camps.
