PS4+controller vs PS4+KB/M vs PC+KB/M vs PC+controller [poll]

Im making this thread out of curiosity, on what do you guys play and with what type of controller. Idk if the thread like that has been already made, but the times has changed and we could check it out again. :p

I'll leave my answer here because multiple options weren't allowed.

I play on PC with a kb+m or controller depedning on what I'm doing. Gathering, fishing, Fate grinding, PotD floor 1-10, questing and other laid back stuff I do with a controller. Dungeons and Trials I play with kb+mouse. Controller is more comfortable for me because I have arthritis, but I never learned to do combat and targeting properly.

I play on PC and use a wireless XB1 controller. It's very nice. Though I still use the keyboard and mouse for certain things.

I think the OP is going for what do you use when you are doing primals, raids, and the dungeons at the current/highest difficulty.

I just use keyboard and mouse on PC 'cause I like having a mouse to use. I'll use a controller for a PC game if it just doesn't feel right normally, but for MMOs I use KB/M. Especially for this where I have a bunch of hotbars for non-skill things. Too much stuff to put on controller bindings.

I play PS4 so naturally I use the controller, but I also have a keyboard attached for chat since using the virtual keyboard is horrible.

The question in the poll is "What do you play FFXIV with?". If they meant something else maybe they would have asked a different question.

Keyboard and mouse. I use the Corsair K95 RGB platinum paired with the corsair scimitar pro mouse. I give props to people that play on PS4, I honestly couldn't do it.

Laptop + third-party xbox controller. Interesting to see the PC results neck-n-neck at the time of my voting.

I play with a PS4 controller on PS4 even though I own a keyboard.

I was really worried controls with the duelshock 4 would be terrible as I've never played a MMORPG before (other than this) and always had the idea that they needed to played on a keyboard because of all the different skills, so I'm really glad using a controller feels so good as Im terrible in any game when using a keyboard and using a controller feels very natural to me.

I would also like to add that I will use a keyboard for chatting because using the virtual keyboard on PS4 is really slow and if I'm in something like the novice network or (hopefully soon) a free company it can help that have comparable taking speeds to PC players

Gamepad+keyboard+mouse on PC.

I play on PC with a DS4 controller and use a wireless keyboard for typing.

I play on PC and primarily use controller but also of course have a mouse and keyboard hooked up for chatting, but I didn't see that combo on there so i picked PC + Console controller

Option #5: all of the above.

I play on both systems with mainly controller but keyboard and mouse available for situations where it's needed.

Playing with mouse and keyboard is almost impossible for me, but I still use them for certain things like the chat box and accessing the main menu when required!...

I'd like to point out - in a funny matter- that the very first post after OP rendered the poll useless cause he answered here. The poll is KOed before it got to 3 post. Ok.. joke over. PS4 for everything. No KB for me. Which makes this post I'm writing VERY funny seeing as this is also written with the controller on my PS4.Why haven't I gotten a KB you ask? it's never came up when I get paid. I might get one later but I've gotten used to typing on my controller so....

Just bought Xbox controller to play with PC and oooooh boy it was freaking HARD to adapt from more than 10 years of KB/M experience in several MMOs. Now almost 1 week and I’m getting used to it. Actually loving it more since I can have better sitting position and relax more in my chair using controller.

PC and keyboard, just can't see myself using controller outside of maybe when i'm gathering.

I'm on PC and use Controller + KB...
I hold the Controller in my left hand for movement and use my right hand to tap keyboard keys.
(And during solo play or fates just all Controller)

PS4 with controller. After years of playing FFXIV with controller, I'm not sure I can go back to keyboard and mouse. Everything just flows so much better with controller. Except typing, of course.
