Probably in the last area by my guess.
We've gone down, we've gone up. Now it's time to go way up. Like, end of the first lv 80 dungeon.
I think it might be a ruin in the rak'tika wood maybe?
Do we really need a new Deep Dungeon? I mean they could just extend Heaven on High for another 10 levels and have that be the go to place for leveling 71-80. Although if one does get added, time and space plays prominently in ShB so a new Deep Dungeon could be be neither up or down, but portal jumping to alternate zones etc.
I reckon Il Mheg. Something about the zone in general just feels right for it.
Yeah, I also think somewhere in Il Mheg.
The pixies seem to be the most likely to have some kind of place where you're trapped in a perpetual cycle of endless rooms with endless mobs, trying to find your way out, full of traps with the occasional reward here and there. Perhaps some kind of magical hedge labyrinth?
Alternatively, I'd say maybe the inside of the copied Crystal Tower. Everyone says Underwater Research Facility from VIII but I can see that becoming a patch dungeon more than anything tbh.
my guess is that vast desert at the last cutscene where tanchred and ryne having a talk. they even talk about mounting an expedition for it.
afterall the world is consumed by the flood and only norvrandt left. so thats a lot space to explore about.
first we go down, then go up. now we going sideways =D
The Ronkan ruins, hopefully. The aesthetic fits and the solo duty had some interesting traps that would be brilliant if implemented into a deep dungeon.
