Forum acting funny for anyone else?

I've tried 2 different computers and had the same problems:
new posts not sorting to the 1st page, certain topics "think" forever and I cannot reply with quotes, topics showing up with incorrect page counts.


Anyone else?

Yes, it's happening to me as well, so it's not just on your end.

Had this problem since yesterday, topics will randomly lose posts, likes and such, and the same threads showing up with the same posts, as if it were showing a cached page.

This has been happening for me since yesterday. It started about four hours before all the NA servers were nuked by that DDoS and hasn't fixed itself since.

Seems like mobile is not affected for me.

Checking New Posts will direct me to a link for posts within the past 24 hours and not an updated New Post amount.

yup, i thought it was just me, so cleared the browser lol.

It'll load a cached page, and then a couple refreshes later it'll load the current one.

Yeah, it's been throwing me off that past couple nights. I just refresh the first page of the sub-forum until the most recent posts were from, well, recently and not yesterday.

Apparently. I'm kinda glad it's not just me. I was thinking maybe my login got corrupted somehow. ... er.. do I post this in technical support too now?

Yep. I’m having issues. When I hit New Posts, I’m redirected to a page that says “Sorry, there are no new posts to view. You may search for posts updated during the previous 24 hours, here”. When I go to Reply or Reply With Quote, the forum takes forever to load, and sometimes the latter will load with a blank box and no quote, so I have to refresh the page and try again.

Also, whenever I like a post, it resets the like count to zero. Refreshing the page sometimes fixes this, and other times doesn’t.

EDIT: There are also times where I will quote people, but their avatar doesn’t appear next to the quote like it usually does. And sometimes the avatars won’t appear at all next to the posts—including the character name, world, and main class tidbit next to it.

The icon for this topic doesn't show I've posted in here, like it should.
Another thing acting up.

It was happening to me earlier but I cleared my cache and that seems to have fixed my issues for the most part.
still get hiccups, but they're not nearly as constant

Yeah, forum has been a bit wonky today for me aswell.
I have to refresh the page once or twice to even see some threads.

Ah, good, it's not just me then. Been getting similar issues the past couple of days.

Same. Seeing some threads that show a new post in the forum listing, but clicking on thread and the new post doesn't show. Or, conversely, thread doesn't show any new posts in forum listing, but opening thread reveals new replies.

It's happened/happening to me too. I've quickly gained the habit of refreshing after every page load just to be sure.

Same here as well. It's like it's throwing me an old cached page, but it's doing this across multiple ISPs and devices.

Having issues as well. Posts that have gotten updates don't show up. :/ I started to click on threads I'm interested in to see if they have updated.

Yes it really is annoying. Not only taking a long time to answer posts but also dont show the correct amount likes. (And it did not want me to log out first, so I had to try it a few times)

Yep, the forums keep reverting back to a state at about 1:30pm GMT two days ago, and have to keep refreshing to update it to current.

Perhaps it is a sign that the site in general is in need of a major revamp?

Yeah happens to me too..

I was about to make a thread asking the same thing. Whenever I hit the "new posts" button it tells me there aren't any and I've had posts I've 'liked' become unliked.

Edit: I've found that if you use the "new posts (all)" button it still works properly.

It's being more of an Owen Wilson kind of funny when I'm used to the typical Danny Devito style comedy, so yes.

Yes, been happening since the last hot fix. Or at least that is when I noticed it.

It's really affecting me badly where anytime I try to navigate to a new forum page or page in a new thread I am taken to an old version of a page that looks to be from around the time frame of the night before the expansion patch. It's also making it so "likes" don't show properly, it removes the likes that I give to others posts and I have to refresh pages on average 5 or more times before I get the recent version. It also makes it almost impossible to make a post because it will just get stuck when I click to start a new post and I have to refresh the page a bunch of times before it works. It's really terrible and making the forums incredibly difficult to use.

Been happening to me since around July 1st and happens on whatever device I am accessing the forums with.

I wonder if to combat increased traffic they turned on some server side caching tools and it's messing with the forums?

CTRL+F5 seems to be partially effective. That seems to at least handle the Likes problem. It's hit and miss with the "reply with quotes" problem, though.
