CONGRATULATIONS SQUARE!!! <3<3<3
I implore everyone to add a line to this thread to help me congratulate everyone involved with the launch of Shadowbringers. I am sure we have all been part of MANY launches, pathces, updates, and other events that have, for the most part, been absolutely horrid. I see the posts everywhere ALL the time. But I, for one, experienced NOTHING with this launch. There was a slight queue time of about 400 and my wife had just over 1000 people to get in. But once in, it was like another day. My other Free company mates got on shortly after launch (around an hour later) and said they didn't even have a queue!!! Are you kidding?! An hour after a majorly hyped launch, no major setbacks, no major errors, no major delays, AND no queue? Come on fellow Warriors of Darkness! WE NEED TO SHOW THEM LOVE!!!
Thank you so much Square for making this THE BEST launch I have EVER had the pleasure of taking part! <3<3<3
Sincerly,

Yep, still no problems for me.
Sorry to hear you guys are having issues. Still, I don't care what you all say. It was still the SMOOTHEST launch I have ever had. I played for a solid 6 hours with no interruptions. Have gotten back in and out a few times (even with the Auto AFK disconnect) and am currently sitting in a queue waiting to get in with no problems. Of course there were bound to be problems when MORE people get on. But that isn't what I was congratulating them on. I was stating that the LAUNCH was smooth. There were no disconnects, no errors, no extended wait times, the quests were fine, the servers were handling everything fine. How many times has that happened in ANY MMO at launch in the last 15 years? I can't think of any.
Also the comment about "Why congratulate corporations?" Well because they worked hard for this, they heard their players complain time and time again about how horrible other launches were both in this game and others, they took the initiative and actually had a solid launch. If we encourage that by offering our appreciation, maybe, just maybe, they will continue to appreciate us and maintain a beautiful game instead of seeing us all as incessant whiners complaining about everything and decide to turn this game into a true WoW 2.0.
So I for one say to keep congratulating. Every road has bumps but I can almost guarantee they are working harder than any to pave it straight and deliver a grand experience for us all.
