Nothing on Battle, but I'm liking a lot of the QoL changes I'm seeing. From this early glance, everything looks good...but we know the full patch notes with the battle listing will make/break it.

I'm going to see lots of Sephiroth.
The names of some of those DoL/H ability names sound promising.
Pick Clean sounds like it might do multiple gathering attempts at once, and Surface Slap sounds as though it might be the Veteran Trade for rod fishing.
Oh crap, I just noticed...the dragon mount is glowing. The new primal/trial mounts may be dragons!

I like the additional "role" quest that's unlocked after completing all four role quests, and the same for all five facets of crafting/gathering.
I've always wanted some kind of incentive for leveling multiple jobs/classes and this seems like a fair way to do it.
So, with most bait being removed and condensed into two types for ARR zones...
...that's going to make big fish a lot harder to acquire.

... Face paint, huh? That's new. Hrothgar/Viera equivalent of new hairstyles maybe.
I can already hear the PC user outcry over the 90fps max setting...

I think it's less about outcry and more of the fact some people reported having issues using SE's artificial FPS limiter. Some people had issues trying to cap it at 60 and had to run it uncapped, while other happen to have a 120 or 144hz monitors that would benefit more from uncapped FPS. This might negatively affect some people, even though they are far from being the majority of the players.
I am biased towards having uncapped FPS though, but I am more concerned about the reports about capping your FPS on XIV causing people some issues.
From what I understood they are just replacing the Unlimited FPS with the 90 FPS max without adding anything else to the options menu.
Apparently Crossworld Linkshells are more important than normal ones. Players have been asking for the ability to reorder them since 2.x
I think they're planning to replace linkshells with cross-world ones entirely in the long term. It's possible the underlying system is different despite the UI being the same, so maybe they either can't or don't want to alter it for the originals at this point if they're on their way to being obsolete.
Maybe, but if they replace a system that remains until the LS is deleted with a system that deletes a CWLS when no one is online it... well that\'s just a mess. Unless they changed the CWLS to not delete when everyone is offline in a previous patch that I missed?
The weekly restriction on receiving Cracked Clusters upon clearing the Orbonne Monastery has been removed.
So does this mean my weekly restriction applies to all items or just the crack clusters, in other words will there still be a weekly restriction for all but the clusters?

Apparently having uncapped framerate has to do with how bots zip around maps? I'm not 100% sure, that's just what I heard.
But honestly, with a 120hz monitor, I hardly see any visual difference after the fps goes above 60. I'm not upset at all if it gets capped at 90.
