Which job will you level first?

So as the title says, which job will it be?

Probably whichever has the lowest queue at this point which I imagine will be Healer? So probably AST or WHM.

I usually always start with a capped class to get through the story but im torn this time!!! I most likely will start with Summoner/Scholar and then when I finish the story im jumping full force into Dancer.

SCH because I'm a masochist apparently. Did the same thing in 4.0 and it didn't break my spirit then, we'll see how it goes now.

Difficult choice, I want to start with Gun breaker but that would mean I have to start from 60 grinding HoH and leveling dungeon before I could start 5.0 MSQ
AST was my main to go through MSQ in SB, yet, I am not happen the change to turn all card into DPS...So I guess it will be a fight between this two for me

PLD. It's my main and always will be my main. As much of a "main" as it can be considering I don't ever stick to one job. But PLD is what I do all my MSQ stuff with. So... PLD.

Definitely DNC. My hype for DNC is tangible.

Gunbreaker + White Mage + Samurai

Start off with 1 of each role (Tank/Healer/DPS) to be prepared for whatever task.

Then, I'll do my usual thing of going down the list of jobs leveling them all up...

PLD > WAR > DRK > SCH > AST > MNK > DRG > NIN > BRD > MCH > DNC > BLM > RDM

Possibly throwing BLU in there if its update comes out before I've leveled all these jobs, just so I can be disappointed with its new content and then forget about it faster...

War > drk > pld > gunbreaker

Start with my MCH since that is my Main Job

As a MCH main user since its release in 3.0, I am happy to begin the MSQ first to unlock Trust on a Job people look down on for so long until 5.0 changes made it more focused on being the Pure Range DPS less RNG focused Job that other people wanted.

They said MCH may never be the fun or good job to play but now it is in 5.0 all of us MCH user since before 5.0 can say "Who is laughing now you Heretics!"

After that I'm going to jump into Gunbreaker for the Job storyline and to use Tust in leveling through 5.0 leveling stages to get some practice.

Paladin. It was going to be Scholar, until I saw the media tour information. I'll level up Scholar through Summoner and just use it for raids. It will be my Shadowbringers Limited Job, like a reverse Blue Mage. Made for raids , not suitable for solo content.

It depends on the character as I'm no longer sure which one I will end up keeping. SMN, RDM, SAM and DNC are likely choices for DPS.

I usually do a dps first for the quest exp. It feels like a waste to do quests as a healer. So probably DNC or RDM.

But then they went and actually referenced your character being a healer in one of the Stormblood main story cutscenes for like the only time ever, and I was leveling RDM and didn't get the healer version, so maybe I'll still be salty enough about that to level a healer through the story just in case.

My main job - Ninja!

The new roles doesn't interest me to a level where I would rush to level them up. I'll keep the new roles to the last jobs for leveling.

Dancer, I've wanted Dancer since around the same time I wanted Red Mage, I'm trembling with excitement to get my groove on.

Dark Knight.

It's always BRD for dungeons and MCH, which will also be dropped until the next expansion, for story and completing dungeon gear sets while leveling leather worker. Then AST and PLD, between alliance raids.

But, hopefully they will separate the sets into different treasure chests for DPS of war, Tanks & healers, and dps of magic or something, because entering Doma Castle with a lv 63 weapon feels really embarrassing

Final decision pending final job skill notes to know if I'm sticking with my main job or not... but monk is still looking decent so probably that. I also look closely at ninja, and did that first in Stormblood, but ninja this expansion looks like it requires an engineering degree to play... so complicated.

Drg for msq then my sch,sam and probably dancer

Summoner is my 'story job' so no question about leveling that.

Will try to keep white mage evenly leveled with it though.

Dark Knight. Really worked out well that I started playing more of it in SB before we learned SHB would be the Dark Knight xpac.

BLM, I have never finished any part of this game as a caster story-wise. ARR + HW I was NIN and SB I was a SAM. Now I want to make all the explosions and make Megumin proud.

I've always mained Bard, and see no reason to stop now, though I will be doing it as a bunny.

I'm torn between Summoner and Dark Knight. I probably will keep them even, maybe have a slightly higher priority with Summoner because it's the main.

Very looking forward to being a viera dancer. So I'll be leveling dancer first.

I will do the Story as BLM and level DNC as my second class to 80. Nut sure in what order I will level the other jobs, whatever I feel like playing :D

I'm gonna do SAM and my bf gonna do WHM. That should get us fast queues to dungeons.

White Mage on my main character. My secondary main will be going through as Dancer. And then I'll be getting my edge on as Dark Knight on my tank character.

...and then eventually to get my other two characters through as Warrior and Summoner respectively. Oof, lot's to do!

Going dancer first because the idea as a big cat man dancing is just too funny for me and I like that its proc based like machinist is currently. After that probably Scholar/Summoner and then most likely Gunbreaker and Black Mage.

Gunbreaker, healers, Red Mage, Dancer and the rest of the tanks are first. Although if I don't like some of them I'll skip them and move on to the next job. I want to farm the Gunbreaker mount this expansion but maybe I will also have time to heal some Extremes.

My white mage has been my story main since the beginning so definitely going to level that first! Then probably scholar :)

My bard hand's down. It's my main class and still my favorite. I've tried most of the other classes and the bard just fits me the best. I have more fun with it than any other ones. I know others love other classes more but for me it's always the bard I come back to. After that probably one of the new ones.

I'm leveling WAR, GLD/PLD, DRK and GNB for sure, and maining WAR for the MSQ. I've also been toying with the idea of finally unlocking WHM for a healer role, and either MNK or DNC for a DPS role.
