Thank God. Now all we need is more flexible glamour options for class specific gear then itll be perfect.
It saves me more inventory space. Think that's really the only reason I'm excited about it. lol
Not gonna lie.
Disappointed at only getting 5 more plates.
Only 5 more? 15 isn't even enough to cover all the current classes. Absolute minimum there should be as many plates as there are classes/jobs.
5 more plates isn't even close to enough.
I dunno about removing all restrictions... What I want is them to treat job requirements on armors (specifically the Artifact armors) as role restrictions when it comes to glamours... So that you could use as a glmaour for example PLD gear on all tanks, WHM gear on all healers.
I can't see them unlocking Artifact Gear for other jobs than the one it belongs to, but in the off chance they do then kinda hope it extends to DoH/DoL gear as well. The Weaver and Goldsmith gear is really nice....
I'd still like to see hair styles tied to plates. It's a pipe dream, but I can imagine......
I'll take it!! I can free up 200 slots now. Still not enough but better than nothing. Wish they would fix the entire system though. Maybe for 6.0
This will make gathering all the Neir raid gear (assuming it's themed appropriately/looks good) so much easier. Though doubling the slot would have been a nice thing... but at least their upgrading it and who knows; we might see another expansion of this during SHB's lifespan. /hope
Glad to see the capacity of the glamour dresser is increasing. But an extra 200 slots in not nearly enough.
As long as we're one step closer to getting a glamour dresser furnishing item, I'm okay.
Doubling item slots and five more plates is quite the change, and hopefully when that change comes around, they'll be able to gauge how comfortable that 400 item limit is..... and then maybe, we'll get our dressers. I'm still hoping.
I wish they would allow us a glamour dresser in our FC and personal homes.
I love how some of you say that "we need" things that are just absurd, and how unhappy and ungrateful you are as well because there were just 5 new plates added. It's still better than before, and it won't be the last time they upgrade it. So right now deal with it.
15 glamour plates isn't even close to enough. I want a glamour plate for every single job including crafters/gatherers.
Wow what an ignorant comment this is. Sure having 15 plates is better than 10 plates. But we can still complain, and we don't need someone like you telling us that we shouldn't or that our complaints are petty.
Your opinion has been noted and will be ignored in the order in which it was received.
I should be grateful? This entire glamour system would make a decent high school CS project. The design problems here are almost innumerable. The one thing they could've done to band-aid this travesty of a system is to give us enough room in the storage space and enough plates to cover every job. It wouldn't even be close to solving the problems this system has, but that would at least be better than nothing. It would be a workable solution while they redesign the thing from the ground up so that it isn't a laughingstock anymore.
I should be grateful... pfft.
I'm just tired of seeing improvements to the game being met with "yeah, but it's not improved enough, so we have no reason to be thankful for it."
Very happy about the additional 200 slots.
I don't really use plates often but would be great if they could start looking into adding the dresser in houses/apartments.
I should be grateful it has taken them over a year to add only five additional glamour plates when the game has twenty-nine jobs and constantly boast about glamour being the true end game? How about they not opt for such a convoluted system in the first place so we don't have all these issues?
I'm quite happy for this, I don't tend to use the actual glamour but I enjoy the extra inventory space it can provide.
I am not going to be happy with a system that needs constant updates and that is combared to whats ingame never going to be enough..this is a game that seemingly 1 Million people play actively..and yet they cant even get us an unlimited glamour dresser that other F2P games even manage to give. If this is a game that wants to be on the top (while costing money) then we should not just accept the minimum and be happy with that.
Every time we get something it's the same responses :
Community : "NO, NEED MORE!"
meanwhile I can imagine the people looking at how the item database works , wringing another extra bit of performance out of it while still falling within tolerances for bandwidth usage and shuffling around item data to make it work screaming "I JUST CAN'T DO IT CAPTAIN! SHE WON'T TAKE ANYMORE!"
I don't know... it sounds pretty entitled to me. Oh and let me add impatient. They acknowledge it's something the playerbase wants and are steadily working towards it. Would I like more? yes but i'm happy we're moving towards it without breaking the game :)
I don't think you should play MMORPGs. this type of game is known for requiring constant updating. Maybe complete single player games are more your style?
People are allowed to be disappointed in a meager offering that was highly anticipated and offered complete in other MMO's of lesser quality. There's no need to personally attack.
I like how people keep ignorantly quoting me.
If they want to keep players around they need to keep improving the game, i don't think we need to be thankful for that. Its ridiculous to think so.
Not only that, the glamour system in this game is handled poorly.
People need to raise their expectations instead of being so lowly and grateful for such a minuscule handout.
This is Square enix, not some tiny indie company, they are capable of doing it and we should hold them to it.
But yeah i'm entitled whoop-de-do, you got me.
I like how people have this mindset of "I'm happy and grateful for this, and others should be to".
Not everyone is pleased by such a half baked handout.
