I really wish characters could have both cposes for idle weapon animations.

Kind of a wierd first post, but I was just curious if anyone brought this up yet? It's kind of a minor thing but I find the Male Dragoon /Cpose to be really visually cool and dragoon like, and I always wish my female Aura could have it as well. Unfortunately the female version is just not as iconic as the traditional Kain Highwind pose. I've even fantasia'd before just to have a character with the pose for a bit, but went back because I missed my old character.

Also I know alot of people who want the female DRK cpose who have male characters too. I know its probably not a priority of the developers but a little addition like this would make my day as well as others if they ever want to implement it in the future. Anyone else feel the same way or wish they could have a certain cpose of the opposite gender?

We've asked for it a few times, there have been threads, but they never get enough attention.

This is one of my biggest wishes for the same reason. I think it's really stupid that because I'm a female I can't do THE ICONIC DRAGOON POSE.

I hope it's something they are considering.

Definitely! Personally I would love to have the male samurai pose as an option, please unlock the poses~

From a programming perspective, it should be pretty simple and fast compared to other user requests... right?
My assumption is it should just be allowing the M/F skeletons to pose in the same way as the counterpart. There would be no actual remodelling needed, just a permission change perhaps?

That's what I was thinking. I know the devs have alot on their hands though, but It seems like it wouldn't consume alot of resources to do. Sigh, I'll just hope and pray that someone official one day sees the interest.

Agreed, gender locking weapon poses, especially iconic ones for jobs is plain idiotic. We shouldn't be punished for playing a certain gender.

What do the male versions of these poses look like? I'm on PS4 and no phone so google is kindof hard atm :C I'm curious on what male monk and male drg look like compaired to the female ones. :c

Well the female NIN pose is way better than the male one, definitely. I agree that we should be allowed to pose in either poses, especially since these poses aren't aesthetically bad if given to the other gender.

I actually prefer the female dragoon pose. It looks like a more idle/standing guard way to hold a polearm. I certainly wouldn't want it to be replaced by the male pose, but I would be 100% behind being able to access both options.

I've always hated how "pin up" the female poses feel except SAM. Same with b/v stance. Monk victory looks like there should be a voice over saying cutsey things or something. I hate it. Especially bad on roegadames who aren't tiny, making them look very awkward.

Male on the other hand, there's a relaxation to resting their axes on their shoulders. Not looking like my character is carrying a parasol.

I support this seeing as it probably wouldn't take much to realize.

Let's get jpose1 jpose2 or just jpose to cycle between 1 and 2. I think this is long overdue.

Nice thread, I support this too. As much as male drk pose is badass, I've always wanted to plant my sword on the ground too and display a "You shall not pass." attitude B).

I've always supported this. Really, really hate the female MCH cpose. If I want to have a "cpose" I just unsheathe my weapon and idle like that, but I actually like the male MCH cpose and would use it.

I also wish I could have the male DRK pose as a female character. Ugh I want both u.u

It's something I'd like, I like both DRK poses and it'd be nice to interchange, while the male DRG pose is just better than the female one.

Mostly I just want the Dragoon one to be usable by both, Kain's pose is pretty much THE iconic pose not just for Dragoons but for fans of the FF series as a whole. I'd also love to see male Roes and soon Hrothgar use the female Dark Knight stance, that sword plant would look badass in for them.

That's inevitable though - the people who want male poses for male characters and female poses for female characters don't need to say that they wish they had access to them!

Both poses for everyone would be wonderful, of course.

The only way to get this noticed by SE is to make sure they see this! I remember seeing a question mentioned to Yoshi-P about being able to get the hairstyle and stubble that the Trailer WoL has, and he was like " I had no idea that there was an interest for this! I will keep it in mind for the future!" Or something along those lines. If they see that this is an interest who knows what could happen in the future! I sure won't be giving up on getting my drg pose anytime soon!

The drk and drg female poses are so nice i have often used one of the /vpose or/bstance (dont remember which) to emulate it by pausing at the right moment in gpose

There is just something about that sword plant pose for female drk. Pair it with a smirk/smug emote and you're done for screenshots.

I enjoy the forced variety. Keeping things a bit fresh from the outsiders perspective on it.
