Please help! Accidentally clicked private instead of free company when i won my plot

I never intended on having a private house in the game. i sat for hours on end clicking to get a house for my FC and it was just my bad luck that i accidentally clicked private instead of free company when i won the plot. could a GM or someone please swap it to free company for me? i will pay the cost of the plot again if i must. I built the house, added my choco stall and garden, and then went inside and realized i had no workshop door.. it took me several minutes to realize what had happened. After that, I spent 35+ hours clicking on different plots and losing (most often to members of a specific free company that had people transfer from another server and want their own persal houses) and some to relocations. i went 48 hours+ without sleep before i gave up and used the in game help center which directed me here. Is there anything that can be done?

You aren't gonna get an answer from moderators in this section...

annnnd there is NOTHING regarding housing in the FAQ section. figures.

You're going to have to drop the plot and wait out the timer again or start fresh on another plot while enjoying your new personal house. This isn't something the GMs will assist you with.

yeah it's at this point that I would really love to go into the forum on the housing setup they have and say a lot of really bad things that would probably get my account banned. this system is completely idiotic.

Short of FC housing being 100% separated from private housing, you would have likely have made the same mistake in any other systems. You still would have had to select either private or FC and you still may have select private by accident.

Time to be an adult and accept responsibility for the error you made instead of blaming it on others.

To be fair people are more likely to make errors while they're rushing, and rushing is what most people do when they're purchasing a house due to the competition. OP may have made the same mistake anyway even if they could take their time, but the fact remains that they would have been far less likely to if they didn't need to rush.

Hey Shimara,

Your best bet would likely be to keep the personal house for now, and try to purchase another one for the FC. Then if you really want the FC to have that particular plot that you purchased first, you can demo and relinquish the plot, and then relocate the FC house instantly. If you relinquish the personal plot you have now, you'll be subject to the random timer again before you can repurchase for the FC, unfortunately. :(

ouch. that sucks. they clearly don't care. I care though. Sorry, that is horrible. You spend hours clicking a placard, hoping that their broken system works, and finally you get the plot despite players camping with you, and you clicked the wrong option.

That's not your fault. That's the broken system that the devs have in place. Will they fix it? No. They don't see a problem, because they're not the ones dealing with their horrible system.

Couldn't you change personal houses to FC houses before? Or am I remembering that wrong? >x>()

Not directly. You could relinquish the plot and then immediately buy it for the fc.

An option that could turn private homes into FC's would be so useful!
