Where are viera's fluffy tails?

I don't see any in the character creator >.>

Viera don't have tails. It's just a fashioned piece of metal on their attire.

Yeah that's one of the reasons why I love Viera. I get really long bunny ears, and I don't have to deal with a tail clipping into my glam? Sweet!

We have cat tails and au ra tails and hrothgar, I don't think adding a bunny tail would have really done much beyond what viera have anyway.

Fluffy puff balls would have at least been something, but I would have gone with not adding them at all if I'm honest. At least people are happy.

I prefer the tails for the extra character it brings to emotes, and imo the viera look really off balance without them. (all the interesting stuff is waaaay above their head and none down below)
So it's miqo'te forever for me.

Aside from their starting cosplay, where are the heels?

I'm very happy they didn't give Viera tails.

You *have* seen what their butts look like, in the racial gear, right? Sure, you can complain about flat models but it would be a CRIME to obscure any part of that, with a tail!

Not going to lie, if viera had tails I'd be tempted to fantasia.

I ended up liking the viera far more than I thought but I love having a tail too much to change to a race without one.

Viera are lacking options, though... hrothgar have it worse but that's just preaching to the choir.

But Viera never had tails... It's literally something they DON'T have.

Even back in Tactic's Advance where they debuted they didn't have tails. The 'tails' thing is fanon, not canon.

Their 'tails' are always costume parts. From the White Mage in Tactic Advance to Fran to Puzzles and Dragons where some of the art has this 'feather' thing but only on certain costumes.

This reminds me of many a thread on Worgen.

I like the viera design as is and I don't think SE will change the design now, but I wouldn't mind having an optional tail for those who would like it.

Asking for a bunny tail on a Viera is like asking for cat ears on a Hyur. They do not have these. They never had these. Their bodies were created without these features since their incarnation.

Now if by some zany chance one day we get "Tail armor" slots, then you're more than welcome to petition bunny tails to be added as an armor/cosmetic piece. But until then, no. Viera do not have tails and never did.

This idea sounds nice too. Viera racial gear has a decorative tail piece. Would be nice to have other armor pieces have this decorative piece for viera, too.

I was also hoping for at least an optional little tail. As someone who hasn't been influenced by past FF games, it feels like it's missing, since even the outfit implies there "could" be one.
Everything interesting is on their head while the rest is just "normal". While I do like their look, I can't shake the feeling that they're a hyur with bunny ears headgear. Also I thought they are supposed to be "feisty" but their emotes are more timid than Au Ra's.

Them not having tails is partly what sold me on the race. I wanted to play a pretty race with animal ears, but the clipping of miqo'te tails and some gear would end up driving me crazy and I would always change back.

I am tired of having a tail, the clipping is ugly and annoys me.

Also, Viera have never had tales and I actually like that about them. They don't need to add features to the race that they never had just "because it's cute." I want to play a Viera, as I have known them to be for years.

While I'm fine with no tails, if they had included them, it wouldn't have been the time they tweaked a race as they brought it into XIV. Taru -> Lalafell = stretched potato. Galka -> Roegadyn = RIP tails.

Gonna disagree with you here. Have you not seen that look of abject disdain and sheer scorn from their /furious emote? The cast down eyes and that scowl from the end of their noses.

And that damn stomp. That stomp, bruh. Rivals even Shiva's Diamond Dust. The way I see it, Viera carry themselves with more confidence than all of the races and in such a manner more refined than even the Elezen. They completely outgrace all of the other races and I am here for it.

I would like the option to add a tail honestly. This was another thing that made me sad about the viera. I still love them but, I would really like some additions to be made in the future.

Seems SE can't make anyone happy in this community lol FYI I rather they did not have tails and happy they don't that clipping is obnoxious

That's where that comes in. You feel something missing that doesn't belong BECAUSE you didn't come here from another Final Fantasy. Any true FF fan would find a tail absurd.
