World Map
I think Its time to let us fly in 2.0 areas so plz fix those zones
Plz add random traps mechanics “poison, heavy, bind …. ” in the world map especially near the beast tribe to make the world more dangers and excitement and help forcing players use potions and other items
(after doing eureka and loved most of it )
Plz give us super rare random treasure chests that pop randomly in the world map “1 every 10 hours with random windows” it will be fun while waiting for Q and in those treasure we could find super rare random items or traps or a special boss and that chest will stay tell some 1 claim it
Change B rank and let it aggressive and increase it size to scare new players
Add monster above the game level cap in world map like eureka

PVP
Plz let us duels outside in the world and give us option marks like busy or away to let others easily know or search for dueling players and to make it better give us party duels 8v8 in open world specially after implanting world travel which will be a good for community open world activity and tournaments
Plz add simple reward for dueling like winning 300 fights to get a minion
All my wow player friends love pvp and im trying to let them play ffxiv but they feel its too slow so plz make GCDs just in PVP 1 sec instead of 2.5 to attract pvp players from other games
In the current game we can get the strongest weapons from raids or relic quests “eureka” plz add a 3rd way from pvp a strong upgradable wpn from pvp quest progression “play 500 games win 100 match use LB 50 times destroy 50 adds in frontlines …”
Plz add casual and ranked free team feast match’s that let players go with any set up they want “4 heales , 2 tanks+ 2 dps “
Plz add a new lvl 30 open world pvp battlefield area anyone lvl 30 or above can teleport to it
Plz add battle royal pvp mode instant for maybe change upgrade diadem with big arena in middle and let playrs die when they fall and leave instant

Its time to let blue mage Q and if u guys afraid of doing it give us the option in duty finder setting to choose on or off if want blue mage in our party and for people chooseing yes give them extra rewards

Let rouge be a selectable class from the beginning

Cities
Plz remove zones from cities and let it be 1 large zone
Plz let us use new special mounts in all cities like skateboarding or bicycles or scooters and let them all have the sprint speed and maybe speed boost too and for fun give us something like GATE activity in the city like scooter racing
Plz plz combine idyllshire with dravanian hinterlands and let it be 1 zone like mor dhona

Music and Sounds
Give us a music player to use our rolls and listen to any music we have anywhere any time
Give us more sounds and voices with existing emotes
Give NPCs in shops or quests optional voices or sounds “let them say 1 word like hi, hello, welcome….or anything”

In a perfect world, Yoshida would actually log into his forum account and respond to every request thread.

My wish list for an ideal world of 5.x-6.0 would be:
-1 SMN feeling like an actual summoner
-2 SCH feeling just as good as it did previously
-3 New glam that makes you look like a thavnairian DNC for both genders other than the AF gear
-4 Female hrotgar and Male viera at 6.0
-5 Female viera having a strong and 'ugly' looking face
-6 Male Hrotgar being popular after release since they look amazing though I wont play them
-7 The new music being as good as raktika greatwood
-8 DRK being good again :D
-9 MCH being a bit less clunky but having a similar feel of a great tool kit
-10 DNC being a full-on support job that focuses on buffs and debuffs and not damage
-11 BLU gettign actual content and being rewroked to be aviable on other content
-12 Amazing MSQ ofc
-13 DNC getting many different kinds of throwing weapons
-14 Male viera to look kinda like au ra but withotu scales and obviously bunny ears
-15 Female hrotgar to bee huge beefy queens ^^
-16 Male Au Ra walking animation rework
-17 Elezen rework
-18 Dwarves beard as a glamour option
-19 Wings mount
-20 Lakshmi gear

Unfortunately due to how those zones have been designed it's frankly impossible to implement flight in them - not only are they very small (meaning the speed of a flying mount would reach the border too rapidly), their backgrounds are designed only to be seen from certain angles, which would make them look downright artifical (like a theatre set), which would thus necessitate a complete rebuilding of those zones from the ground up, which is quite frankly more trouble than it's worth. It's not impossible for SE to do, but as they increased ground mount speed to double what is available in HW/SB areas to compensate for not having flight in ARR areas, I hate to say it but this simply will never be happening.

We technically already have this, with the treasure hunt and the mobs that spawn from them (and Aquapolis which is connected to it).

They already are rather large, and as for scaring new players, given Yoshi wants this game to be accessible to new players, he will never do such a thing.

Again Yoshi wants this game to be accessible to players of all persuasions and abilities, including casual players who have never played a MMO before, and he does not want new players to be unfairly targeted by high level players if open world duelling was available. The closest you will get to open world PvP is the Duelling Circle at the Wolves' Den (and given how little used that is, it's pretty telling to SE that open world PvP simply is not widely wanted anyway).

People have repeatedly asked for the GCD to be reduced since the Beta test and he's outright said "no". So this will not be changing I'm afraid (it's not that slow, WoW players are just being melodramatic, and before you pass judgement, play FFXI: that has a really slow autoattack and ability cooldowns that can be as long as an HOUR (in it's heyday, a whopping two hours).

Uh, we already have Ruby Carbuncle? Wait for SBS to be launched, as the level cap increase is bound to bring new abilities (such as summon spells) for SMN, if not actual egi glamour.

I think that airship has sailed I'm afraid: CNJ gets the unicorn and tanks get achievement mounts as a way to get people to stop just going DPS and actually levelling and queuing for content as healers and tanks. Of course nothing is stopping him doing so, but I doubt it will ever happen.

Again if that would happen it would have been done so when the class was first added. Besides, think of it like the classless Jobs - you need to level an earlier class to unlock it (and given ROG's secretive nature lore wise, it makes sense you just can't level it as a brand new adventurer just off the boat).

Uh, this was one of the reasons we got ARR in the first place - 1.0 with it's huge zones and cities that were directly part of them had so many issues that only scrapping the game entirely and rebuilding it with smaller zones and cities as seperate zones could fix it. An example of what I mean was in 1.0 when inns were added: players idling in the Quicksand broke the Inn so completely SE simply could not fix it. Instead, to ensure the servers remained stable (in a manner of speaking) they were only able to implement a backdoor in another part of the city with a npc that allowed access to it, you could not enter the Inn at all in the Quicksand in 1.0, and that remained right up until 1.0 got it's well-deserved bullet behind the ear.)

And as the problems with such huge zones was one of the biggest and loudest player complaints about 1.0, again SE will not be changing this (although Kugane and Rhalgr's Reach are both single zones so that might be the closest you will get).

Again, this was for technical reasons, due to players tending to idle in those areas, in ARR Revenant's Toll became somewhat laggy and so SE made sure not to make that mistake again. Hence from now on every place the 'end game gear' vendors are located, will be in a seperate city zone and not a regular hamlet out in the boondocks. It's to ensure server stability.

I'm pretty sure SE cannot do this due to how the music is programmed in the game - certain music tracks are queued up to play at certain times and at certain spots in a zone - the Orchestrion on the other hand is a seperate track that technically mutes the normal BGM in an Inn or a FC/private house/apartment, which would be too complex to implement in zones with multiple queue points for multiple tracks that need to be played immediately (like battle themes). I agree it would be awesome to ride along on my Legacy Chocobo and queue up Answers, but sadly, I doubt Soken will ever be able to do it. It would be great if he could though. :D

A bouquet rather than a brickbat for a change - I admit I like this idea and don't know why SE hasn't done it already, as it is indeed a standard RPG trope.

I'm sorry if it seems like I was shooting down your wishes, (the ones I didn't answer are actually your ideas that I agree with), it's just that many of your ideas have already been mentioned by others in the past only to be given counterpoints by Yoshi and SE as to why they can't or won't be implemented sadly.

Pls don't ask this game to be WoW.

So whats a ninja mount? We have birbs of all kinds, colors, flavours and auditory stimulations. The only other thing I can think of is the Hell Frog, but I'd hard pass on that. Thinking of that thing flying around sends down shivers into places I dont usually think of the shivery way.

Wouldn't mind the hell frog but you have so many other options to explore the list is endless i.e. llamas / camels, wild boars, manticores, sphynx, centaurs, dragons of all elements, five elements mounts, loa, gelatin cube, Sleipnir, Naga, Kelpie, Kaichi, Nandi, Narasimha, harpy, valkyrie, jinn, moth, wheel of fortune from tarot and the it goes on.

To be fair if merging Idllyshire was merged with the Hinterlands now it wouldn't be much of an issue because its not frequented too often, I could see these types of zones being merged at the end of the expansion cycle, granted Reach isn't as bad because all of the surrounding areas have aetherites, getting to the Hinterlands is still a bit of a pain.

This was actually done to make ARR work on PS3, its why they were able to make Kugane one single zone instead of two since they didn't have to worry about making the game with PS3 limitations in mind, so they could actually go back now and merge the old city state zones.

B ranks aren't aggressive by design so people won't kill them who don't have that as their weekly hunt since they get no credit if its not flagged for them.
