turn out to be Kitsune and one of the player options you get can be 1 or 2 tails?

As long as they're ripped and bestial, I'm down for whatever really.
(But of course I prefer the two sexes to look of the same species)

They definitely won't do this, but I would switch immediately. Fox girls > *.

I say let SE do their own thing.

I mean what if the next expansion after shadow brings fox girls like you said and moogle race for guys but they look like they did in final fantasy tactics advanced.

then expansion after that girls get rat race and guys get bird race

I've been pointing out how the tiny lore blob we got questions if they even look like the men.
And given how diverse the Hrothgar heads are they could be very different.

Personally I wouldn't expect them to be big, hulking buff ladies. Would prob be Viera sized with a Japanese Delinquent gang leader girl persona IMO. Would show their status as leaders of their people. Could also see their heads being Ronso/ Tiger or Cheeta/ Fox/ Lion to match the male's Ronso/ Jaguar/ Wolf/ Lion heads.

Hrothgar were implemented specifically because some design niches were overfilled and they wanted to add diversity to the player character options. It would seem... like yet another giant slap in the face to the female character players if we got "your diversity doesn't matter" again for a second (third) time.

I will literally cry if the one chance we have at proper bestial women turns into another 'uwu' fest. Not knocking female Au'ra, I have one myself, but I 100% preferred the most vicious concept art we were shown prior to the reveal.

Don't really think you can compare the male race spread to the females. Roebros are actually decently represented because the spread is more even. Sure, they are 1/4 the size of the Cat Boi pop ... but us Femroe are like 1/17th the size of the Cat Girl pop.
Plus Roebro pop vs Elezen pop would be the better comparison IMO seeing how Elezen where the only tall elegant skinny race until the Scaley Bois showed up to give a different, better proportioned and more unique option for that body type.

As for what they aimed for with the Hrothgar, something Yoshi said stood out to me. He said that they wanted to make a race that played on the powerful, laser focused on battle look. They chose to make the males this way but it's not the only way to convey the idea of strength and violence/ aggression. The female wouldn't have to be hulking and hunched over to look powerful and violent.

That doesn't really solve the problem yoshi p was describing when he said they introduced hrothgar to fill in missing archetypes. If the males were missing a violent and aggressive looking race, the females are ABSOLUTELY missing it, and the female hrothgar would be the perfect way to fill that in. =.=

Oh I most diff agree. This is why He said Hrothgar were decided on first and the choice was between Female Hrothgar and Viera. The Hrothgar ADD something to the line up, Viera don't. This is coming from someone who was a rabid supporter of the Rabbit Girls and will play one ... they add nothing but a 3rd chance to make a popular tall female race and please fans. But that alone is something at least seeing how much they dropped the ball on Elezen and Femroe.

Just pointing out that if they did make female Hrothgar they can make them look powerful and "laser focused on battle" without making them Femroe tall-n-beefy, hunched over women. To me it's clear that a large factor in making an appealing female PC in this game is the successful execution of popular archetypes ... which can come through in movement and poses and emotes more so than just the shape.

As for the topic, I do actually think they would use some more female leaning animals for heads.

I doubt they will ever add them unfortunately. According to the letter from the dev it's not a matter of money or people being thrown at the problem it's that the codeing requires way too many modifications to continue to add additional races. He went on to continue to say that he doubts there will ever be another race ever added in the game in the future. Because of the fact that each race has to have every single piece of gear in the game be able to fit them correctly and modified to their frame type that is what required too much work on the developers end. I do completely agree I would like to see it added though.

Finally here we have a full on betial race (which I'd personally prefer) and that's another option that's viable for SE.

I kinda hope that if they do add FemRonso that they do look similar to female versions of what we see from the current Males. With bestial faces and muscular bodies (Since, in the animal kingdom there are plenty of times where Females are the Hunters of the species even if the lazyass males are larger and stronger...)

I really wanted a small, maybe canid/fox/moomba like race that was a bit taller than a lalafell, but the hrothgar are pretty cool looking. I would really want the female hrothgar to be similar to the males though, big and beefy.

I'd rather female Hrothgar* be like the males, bestial. Why would it even be a fox? They should look bestial, like a lioness, hopefully not overly masculine though.
