No Hydatos nerfs. :(

I dunno what I expected of "various changes"...maybe a bit more than this.

Why would you want Hydatos nerfed? I, for one, really love Eureka in all it's forms. I really hope they don't change it.

The crystal rate from FATEs is absolutely abysmal still. The fact this is the last semi major update to the game before 5.0.

Abes Attire, and High Summoner's Attire are also on the Mogstation.

Similar to last year with the mogs that sold the mog minion and earrings I guess.

Really just seems like a patch just to make the Seiryu fife purchasable. The fix about entry-level subscriptions having a 2nd character probably was important, I imagine.

Itinerant moogles have typically been put up around fan fest times or something, pretty sure. Goes up so everyone can get the rewards the fans unlock or something at the event? Idk. Is just where you can buy your slime earrings, and cactuar, and bomb, and some other junk. Can always search on garland tools to see what it's previously offered.

Why was there BLU mages in the patch picture, when the patch had nothing to do with BLU :eek:

various changes... I was expecting some nerf on Eureka (Pagos, Pyros, Hydatos), that they would remove the weekly limits for items in the raids, and what they have put.... And maybe some surprise... This is a bit... disapointing, I don't feels it should be called a patch at this point. Anyway it's ok, 2 month and half before we can play Shadowbringer ^^.

They seems to have done something with their servers, let's just hope it's to make the release better than what SB or HW was... No more Rauban Ex please.

But there isn't any loot restriction of raids now, this was unlocked last patch I think.
4.58 was a bit blurry since it was announced, and people guessed minor fixes / Eureka nerfs.

Why was this even worth calling 4.58? They originally said it would have various adjustments the community would like/wanted at the time. Moogles are not it.

edit: this tiny non-patch still has to copy over on PS4... by the time I make a pizza and eat it, it might be finished!

The weekly limits are already removed.

Everyone relax, the major, major patch is coming in a little over a month.

Unless they were prepping for something after the live letter on the 23rd this was a total waste of 9 hours.

I dunno I got some good sleep in.

The hydatos nerfs are seriously needed, even the feather guy alone would have helped. Have not seen PW in many weeks.
Something to do with pagos crystals is needed as well, use them as currency for the feathers or buying the gear sets.

So little information and late on getting the servers back up (3am PST, already 3:30 am PST). So no info and a late restart.. not good SE, not good.

Various changes = Turning servers into congested worlds.

That's what they really planned.

How? Most of the actual maintenance consisted of backend work. The actual patch was likely something they added now just because the servers would be going down anyway, and not the main reason for maintenance.

Actually, servers were available for login shortly before the announced finsihing time for maintenance.

I was hoping they would half the amount of logo grams needed for the weapon in Pyros. Would have gotten me back in Eureka. Oh well. I also understand they were doing a lot of back end stuff for Shadowbringers so... no big deal.

They did. They said they would be doing backbone work for Shadowbringers. Said on the post on the website as well as the post when you log into the game.

Don't know what you been smoking, but all servers are still offline... well on PC at least, console guys might be different.

I'm in game right now. On PC.

Can confirm. PC, was in game for the past hour-ish.

I mean, all you have to do is log in on the launcher and the Play button comes up. It's literally that easy to check.

Ah I see, the patcher isn't updating, I was basing my choice to log in off of the patchers status., which is showing everything offline still, SE should fix that, as I would think it would update itself to showing the game as online if its onliine.

Your reading of the post is different then mine. It appears to be the standard notice for a game patch. While there is no mention of Shadowbringers I suspect you are right in that regard. They should have just said that instead of adding a misleading patch number when the MINOR adjustment could have mentioned in the maintenance recap. People were expecting final nerfs to Pyros Light and possibly Hydatos. People know prep needs to be done for a new expansion so just tell them and they will accept it.

I went back to check the whole stress test thing. But it apparently started and ended without me even noticing.

You mean the Alphascape Crystalloid? Yes, you can look it up in the Patch 4.57 Note:

"The weekly restriction on the number of Alphascape crystalloids available as completion rewards in Alphascape V4.0 has been removed."

Game not available yet! They are unusually late this time and they didn’t even announce about it! What is going on?!
