Create an 8v8 PvP Game Mode

Good morning everyone and SE team!

Respectfully request that the SE team create an 8v8 PvP Mode that is simple for everyone to understand, and most importantly... FUN! ^_^

The idea I want to suggest: Dungeons small enough to be FUN, and long enough to be FUN... with the following game modes and options:

1. Capture the Flag - Both teams spawn at opposite ends of a dungeon. Players have to navigate through the dungeon which also has monsters that spawn at certain times... kill players to level up and upgrade "Aether Gear" to become stronger. Capture the enemy flag and bring it back to your spawn safely to win.

AND

2. Destroy the other teams base (or enemy Aether Crystal). Same concept as #1, but instead of capturing the flag... you work your way thru the dungeon until you can attack and kill the enemy "Aether Crystal" to win.

Rewards for winning x number of matches: Mounts, Glams, etc. :3

*Most important - Keep the map small! Not large like Frontlines or Rival Wings. And maximum duo queue to prevent pre-mades. lol

Or some kinda 4v4v4 CTF. We have even 3Grand Companies so this could work, no? More rewards to keep PvP players for longer time than just to farm some mounts and thats it... Open world zone? Damn, a lot of possibilities but yea. :/ Anyway I like your idea tho.
And why while waiting in PvP que we can't que to diffirent duties? :/ (I won't post here about what game I'm thinking about that has this option - but probably you know)

There was 8v8 mode but they removed it during Stormblood :p

there was 8v8 pvp. but no one did it. because there were no rewards for doing so. so it got removed.

That was a version of the Feast training mode, right? I liked that... short queues and lots of XP and fun

Ye everyone liked that. Like, people had fun there, I can see why they removed it ye, some classes had aoe dmg/heal some not and it would have been very unbalanced in there with 4.x. But now they added aoe dmg back and in 5.1 even want to add aoe heal back. It would have been perfect time to add it back.

But be careful what you wish for, for each new mode they gonna remove an older one it seems. xD

Yeah but according to him no one did it, even though my queues were like always less than 5 minutes.

Lmao. Loads of people did it, that wasn't the reason it got removed. It was REPLACED with 4v4 training because the concept of training feast was to train you for ranked, and since ranked is 4v4 obviously it did nothing of the sort and it made more sense for the training mode to also be 4v4.

I'm down for 5v5s tbh.

Would fix range queues by reforming casters into basically squishy range supports and keep phys range as range dps

Yeah I recall when they announced it as going 4v4, but I still enjoyed the 8v8. I think for some it was more comfortable to try as 8v8, and personally I don't care what they call it (replace Training with Expanded or Oversized or whatever). Don't see it happening, but it's different than Front Line or Rival Wings yet not as much pressure as the 4 player teams. I can see myself doing an 8v version mostly and then getting confident enough to try the 4v from time to time.

I used to run solo and 8v8 PVP feast used to que insanely fast, 5m.

Way faster then FL ever did.

No company should be removing content. Period.
If anything they should be making a 24 FL que and a 72 FL que. Not (oh lets just delete it). no
So far the only people agreeing with it are people that have no clue how bad ques were pre garo or ppl that (in reality) just want smaller maps for 24s.

If theyre going to follow through with this nonsense we need an 8v8 mode, 100% and period

I would like to see modes like Shatter have a smaller map with an exciting layout built to challenge the strategy of 8 player teams with increased engagement, but personally that doesn't translate for me into, "If there aren't smaller maps then just delete 8 player FL."

I’d like to see a marked man mode. Only 1 mark per group. Medium size map. Only get points for KOing marked men.

Marked man gets no offensive abilities but a bunch of defensive ones.

Will you stay together to protect your marked man or will they try and stay running and hidden? Will you split up to search? How many people? I think it would be fun but of course trading wins would be possible still unless the marked man is the only ones that knows they are marked. Only way to out a marked man is after killing and you need to remember what they wear (no equipment changing)

Just add a battle royale, it'd attract all the new kids!

Except it had rewards, the 8v8 Feast had exp and wolf mark reward and it was the most commonly ran pvp when Garo released as the match were quick to go through.

Amen brother... this 72 only stuff is a freakin joke. Not everyone can play at prime time everyday. SE has always made it hard for people that play in off-hours. They seem to only care about people who play from 8pm - 12am. IF they must maintain their stupid 72 man policy, please oh please merge the data centers so there are more players to pool from because this is a joke now, waiting 300+ minutes for a 72 man in the morning... come on.

Sorry guys but SE doesn't care about PvP whatsoever. The change to 72 person FL only makes that very clear. This is the beginning of the end for pvp players.
