Says all world maintenance

4-22 6pm ----4-23 3am. So why did the server go down right now ? saying world maintenance ?

That's the all worlds maintenance for all data centers. The NA data centers went down now so they can put in the new data center crystal, and redistrubte the servers among the NA data centers. EU and JP data centers are unaffected by this

Really not happy. I came back to the game today after a break and had an achievable deadline for completing the Hatching Tide event, only for the servers to go down earlier than initially posted. This clash means that now I’ll have to wait for the Spriggan out to appear on the Mogstation so that I can complete the set, and this also means an expense that I shouldn’t of had to pay extra for. Thanks devs.

They didn't, tho? Been known for a solid week that NA servers were going down at this time.

Make sure you are looking at the right notices. There is more than one applicable maintenance notice.

NA servers are planned to be down for maintenance Apr. 22, 2019 3:00 a.m. to Apr. 23, 2019 3:00 a.m. (PDT)
All servers will be down for maintenance Apr. 22, 2019 6:00 p.m. to Apr. 23, 2019 3:00 a.m. (PDT)

So first the NA servers go down for the data center split, then they do maintenance and apply Patch 4.57 on all servers.

They didn't go down early. On the 15th, they posted the exact time maintenance would start.

And i know not everyone reads the forums, but since this IS the forums... link... they even specifically warned that maintenance would end the hatching tide event early for NA players. With a bad pun in there about the outfit, but a specific warning all the same.

they think 1 day of play time is good enough for taking down our servers for 24+ hours, I am a adult that finally found time to get on... and now they take that away from me.... thanks for nothing...

So I'm apparently stuck on a realm that is down for a whole day? Sure wish it would have said that on the launcher. All it said was all worlds would be in maintenance until 3 AM PDT.

Oh, I knew the 3AM maintenance was coming, just trying to clear up some confusion, as that post appears lower on the list on The Lodestone.
People are most likely clicking the first [Maintenance] post about worlds, and expecting that to be the times.

It also says "subject to change". As it always does.

Those who missed the Hatching Tide event as a result of thinking they could log in after school/work today to finish it up real quick only have themselves to blame. The event was live for nearly two weeks, and the notification for the maintenance schedule went out a week ago. You are also notified in-game when you log in 24-hours prior to servers going down. SE cannot be faulted for player's procrastination.

If you know maintenance is coming, it is best to not wait to the last minute and get done what you need done the day before; not the day of. This applies with weekly resets as well for tomes, raid pennies/crystalloids and loot, elite marks, custom deliveries, the whole nine yards. This is a minor consequence, so learn from it now. You procrastinate like this with matters IRL, the repercussions can and usually will be much more severe.

This is correct on my page as well so the times were not updated to everyone. Also, this is not the first time they 've done this. So I can see why people a little upset, one day will not kill you. Here is an idea go outside and do stuff...see how that goes or not

Wonder if they fix the bug with AK nm twice in a week i had an AK run where mobs just didn't spawn not complaining though as shaved 5 mins off synced runs XD

lol what? Easter is over, its back to work for most people. I'm a security guard at a factory so I had to work yesterday regardless but even the factory workers are coming back in today dude lol. Nothing special about the day after Easter.
