New class based off using Powers of the King?

Based off from playing the FFXV COLLABORATION Garuda fight I was hoping to see more pulling out different swords and warp striking Garuda other than just warp striking and I thought it would be cool if we got a new class based off that fight, what do you think?

Onslaught, Plunge, Spineshatter Dive, Shoulder Tackle, Hissatsu: Yaten and Corps-a-Corps exist. The mechanic is simply a gap closer.

Doesn't need to be a gap closer though, could just be a movement mechanic like Shukuchi, Aetherial Manipulation or Elusive Jump etc.

Idk about that but...maybe having some sort of unique battle effect for those who did the event would be pretty great.

this is the best idea someone had since limited jobs! that would be fantastic and it looks cool. noctis actually looked like he was fighting and not fighting air like most melee classes. felt more action packed

On paper, Warp Strike is really no different from any other gap closer.

As for a XV-inspired job, I sorta did a concept for that. A melee job using a weapon type I called an arsenal, with each weaponskill in the basic combos using a different weapon and each combo building up a gauge based on what damage type the combo is (slashing, piercing, blunt), and that gauge could be used for other weaponskills and abilities with effects depending on which damage type you built up in the gauge. Not exactly Noctis, but that's as close as we'd get to a basic multi-weapon user.

and name the job Kingsglaive

It'll end up being a limited job to preserve concept.

Honestly I'd love to see a class that makes more use of gap-closers-openers. Like a true melee/range hybrid. RDM sort of has this going on yes, but the amount of range-based attacks far outweigh the melee.
