Leveling up slower is not an option

I have a thought. Some people like to level there jobs.How can we spend time doing that if they give us bonus exp all over the place? Plus I don't want to tell my free company not to use a exp buff. We should either get an exp -50% buff or an max ilv sync to make dungeons and fates bit more of a challenge.

If you like leveling for the sake of leveling, Shadowbringers will have 17 jobs, 1 limited job, and 11 non-combat classes you can level. Also, +exp gear is optional; nothing compels you to wear a single piece let alone a full set, and your first job levels at a +0% base xp modifier. Subsequent jobs get an armoury bonus because it's assumed that you want to get that job current ASAP; for the vast majority of players, this is a fair assumption.

If you want to level up slower, then level up two or more jobs at once so you can spread the exp between them.

Run old content far from your current level without any xp boost items and you'll have your "slow leveling".

I will still be over powered and that puts us back at the fact that we need an ilv sync on old stuff. Will show with new game +. Dungeons like "The Praetorium" or "Crystal Tower" are just a tank grab heal and smack. Some of the ex trials are skipping major boss attacks too.

Exp pills, what is this a 2003 Chinese mmo? Maybe invest in Eureka. You'd love it.

Older stuff has a minimum item level option. If you're that curious to run it with an item level sync, then put up a PF and see if others feel the same. Or wear gear that matches the minimum item level. It's unlikely that Devs will go back and put item level syncs on content like 24-mans and EX primals; especially given the tendency of some players to cry about how hard things are while being overgeared.

They did changed LotA to be one tank. Also With new game + they will shine more light on old stuff. If its not good why go back? Also if I have lower ilevel gear as say a tank won't the healer just over heal at the max ilv? Why not just make it stupid ez but still be a point where we see the boss do stuff? The Tam-Tara Deepcroft (Hard) is a good example of a dungeon done justice. The min ilv is 70 but max is 110.

And Tam-Tara HM is also a faceroll of a dungeon—there’s nothing “hard” about it.

There are a few level 50, level 60, and level 70 dungeons that have item level sync, but that doesn’t mean that they will put it on all of them—Wanderer’s Palace HM and Amdapor Keep HM, for example, sync you to ~i130, despite their minimum item level being lower than that. Sohm Al HM and Baelsar’s Wall sync you to ~i270, despite their minimum item level being i230.

Just make a minimum item level party finder if you want to experience all the mechanics, and see if others want to join you. Some people don’t care that you don’t see all the mechanics nowadays, and you can’t really make them care.

Why join a game at all if you don't want to play it? Why start an application(final fantasy 14) if you don't want to see the game and play it right? Wheres the fun in mashing buttons and not really needing to move or use ANY skill? Also its 8 out of 19 dungeons at lv 50 that don't have a max ilv sync. Most of em do. Plus Amdapor Keep (Hard) is a bad example. Its max is 40 more ilv then the min. Lots of the dungeons have a 40 point difference set. Plus wheres the game on something like Keep normal? That ones min ilv is 45.

“Play it right” has different meanings for different people. Don’t apply your meaning of the phrase to everyone.

Honestly, the crux of your issues seems to be that you want everyone to do everything they way YOU think they should do it (i.e., by the book; in the strictest sense of “respect the content”). But not everyone wants to do things they way you want to do. Acknowledge that. It will save you a lot of grief pondering the “whys”.

people have many different priorities for playing this game. for some it's socialization/glamor/friends over hard content. you are very much in a minority of mindset. if you want challenges i would suggest playing a single player RPG instead and self imposing restrictions.

Or, as I suggested in your other thread, do Extremes/Savage/Ultimate. If you really want a challenge, become a raider. Get some experience with Savage content, and then find a static and tackle Ultimate. Ultimate is the hardest content in the game, and it requires the sort of “respect the content” mindset that you want from the more baby content.

Raiderz are bad mkaaaaay? But yeah thats pretty much the only stuff to have something harder to play...oh maybe orbonne torwards the weekend or mondays.
