Regarding the garlean third eye

What do you think happens if you booped it? I kinda wanna boop them.

Same. It looks like hard flesh. Might be an odd offset of evolution kind of like how some people have a 6th finger that's a little stub and non functional or a tailbone.

This shuts down the Garlean.

Probably the same thing that'd happen if someone booped your eye.

Huh so there is. I've never looked that close at cid before. I just knew I didn't recall him having one off the top of my head.
Pretty good "eye" for detail. Pretty good.

I have a hard time not staring at it honestly, I donno if that's rude... still technically eye contact.

I'm guessing because Cid's goggles have a lens for it, it's somehow functional, even though it looks almost like a hard marble or something. It doesn't look like a normal eye. I'm curious how it works... /stares

I always assumed it was like the parietal eye (sometimes called a third eye) found on most reptiles and amphibians. It’s photoreceptive but they don’t actually see in the strictest sense. It seems to do something because characters like Gaius and Zenos have an obvious lens on their helmets where the eye would be. From recollection, lore says the eye has something to do with spacial awareness, but I can’t remember off the top of my head.

So I read "resembles a pearl", thought a bit, and then it hit me.

We do fairly often already except it's typically through stabbing or punching.

It initiates the self destruct sequence. The reason you don't want to press it is because it'll take out everything within a 10 mile radius.

It looks more like a huge pimple, waiting to be popped.
