The new Outfit

So how do you feel about the new free outfit they have given us?

Do you feel edgy with it?

Do you enjoy the new skin tight oufit.

I like it, nothing else to say.

Why do they give us this garbage and then make it not storable in the armoire?

any pics? i'd love to see it but i won't be able to finish the MSQ for some weeks

I like it. Unfortunately, my katana pokes through the cape and looks weird with it, and I haven't found an alternate top that works well with those boots yet.

MSQ stuff is usually sold on the Calamity Salvager. i haven't checked this set but i'd be surprised if it's not there already or end up there eventually.

Looks pretty cool, tho mask is quite creepy.

The mask creeps me out (seriously, zoom in on the "eyes") and the boots have too much going on for my tastes but the rest is nice for an unexpected reward.

Kinda looks like armor from the game "Thief" or from thief armor in Skyrim. Hood is quite creepy though.

It's no glacial coat, if you wanted my opinion.

I think the outfit aside from the headpiece is alright, that mask thing is just horrifying, and I hate having my whole head hidden under gear regardless.

IDK I think it looks rather spiffy and fitting for the upcomming expansion. Kinda gives you that dark otherworldly traveler feel. Kinda perfect for a future Warrior of Darkness coming from an expansion themed around ninjas, monks and samurai. It feels a bit more lore friendly than the Scion Adventurer's Outfit from the end of Heavensward, too.

I do not like it.

Looks exactly like 90% of the rest of the gear in the game.

I really wish they made gear with variety in mind. I don’t need 70 pieces of gear looking only 2% different from another...


Weird shoulder piece, ripped cape, heavy armor. That’s 90% of all tank gear. Would like to see some higher class gear like the Lionsmane PVP gear or Miltia tank gear. Just more variety overall.

I see that this outfit (without that creepy head gear) will make a great Shadow Dancer outfit.

Ya it does not show a lot of skin but the outfit skin tight black color design makes it quite ideal for a Dancer that dances in the shadows like a assassin.

It's better than the Scion Adventurer's outfit we got towards the end of HW. I like wearing long skirts though, so it remains to be seen if I'll actually use it.

On a tangentially related topic, expanded glamour space (both chest and plates) when?

While it doesn't fit my preferred look for my character, I love it. It reminds me of the Nightingale armor from Skyrim. Excellent design.

The cape did remind me of the shire tank body piece instantly I'm not gonna lie. Looking at the outfit as a whole though it's pretty sleek, and the boots are really pretty to me. I can forgive my samurai sword clipping through the cape and I'm probably gonna glam it.

The face creeps me out a bit. Otherwise, it's not bad. Gonna have to play around with dying it later.

I freaking love the set! Especially those boots!

This outfit is so edgy it will need cushion to not hurt ourselves or people around us.

That head is so, so ugly, the torso would be fine if not for those terrible shoulder. Pants is nice, boots are far too much as a whole, too much metal, too high, too much darkness.

It's nice, it adds a dark vibe to the adventurer somehow, like its teasing SnB.

...but I really don't like the hat :c

I love how it looks on my Dragoon! And I don't mind the creeptastic headgear. I'll just show the headgear when I feel like creeping people out, and hide it when I feel like looking more approachable. Kinda like Kylo Ren.

I like that it's not just a simple recolour :3

Looks like it's a case of who wears it, because on some characters (male or female) it looks pretty darn good; on others... not so much.

The really important question is; can it be dyed?

I would have liked a baggier hood that didn't do the usual lalafell ear holders personally, but it's got a good variety of pieces to make use of.

... but I 100% agree. The outfit only makes sense in the context of Shadowbringers... It makes absolutely no sense why TATARU of all ppl would make us an outfit like that at this point in the story though.
