FanFest Aftermath.

After the emotional roller coaster that was FanFest: Japan 2019.
There has been MANY ups and downs.

So on the following list, please pick at what "Stage of Grief" are you at, at the moment.

I don't get the whole 5 stages thing... Can't you accept that something is happening and still be mad, or sad, that it is happening?

There's many more positive things to focus on other than what you didn't get. Still hyped for the expac.

I'm happy we're getting something new that will eventually grow to give us newer stuff to do, make, appreciate and experience.

- New maps.
- New raids.
- New gear.
- New level cap = New and reworked skills.
- Brand new music!

I hope they've learned from their mistakes while doing Eureka and do things akin to what Pyros and Hydratos were.

You most certainly can, most people don't just progress through the stages one at a time, it's a dynamic process.
But the stages tend to arise in that order, even if they don't go away in the same order.

I've been away from this game for pretty much the entirety of Stormblood and would like to rejoin the raid scene during new content while it's relevant.

Im just fine with things as they are. Can't wate to see the polish on it all as well. Whate makes me really toss a smile at my screen? Alllllll the firkin salt and hurt butts. As a Fem-Roe... Ghot daym them cat men got it going on. Those bun gals to.

What is disappointed but still very much looking forward to ShB, because that's how I started and is likely how I will remain.

Somewhere between denial and anger. Maybe both.

I just want to mention, that everyone plays a game for different reasons. Some people play for the great character customisation, some play for interesting classes, some play for roleplay and some for challenging raids and endgame content. None of these has any more value than another, just keep that in mind when talking down other peoples opinions or disappointment with things.

I am very disappointed and regret perordering, because my reasons to play the expansion where not met with any great news but people who appreciate the game for other reasons still have the right to be hyped, even though I may not be.

Just please don't forget that when criticising someones opinion next time! :)

But, I'm also disappointed with the community of this game and the forums in general. I've never been so embarrassed to be a part of the XIV community until the fanfest happened with people hurling out things they don't even understand properly just because they didn't get [X] thing.

Like, wow....maybe I should take a break and be part of the WoW community, god knows some of my other friends would be thrilled to see me there even though I don't like the art style of WoW, lol.

As bad as these forums may be right now.... don't go look at WoW forums. Its best day is 100 times worse than anything this forum will put out on its worst day.

I'm perfectly happy I don't care about Viera/Ronso so the gender thing doesn't affect me.
I wanted dancer and got it and while I thought it would be a healer because there wasn't any since HW I was pleased to see it was a dps.
