You guys do know that most DPS are used to long queue times and trying to make their lives miserable isn't going to change squat? I'm pretty sure most dps like myself have system sounds set to always play even when the game isn't tabbed. We just do something else. All you'd really do if successful is piss off a handful of tanks because they have to wait three minutes more without their prescious instaques.

Well, to be honnest, I've been healing since the begining of ARR, and always leveled one at a release of an expansion. But honnetly, after 4 years of the same stuff for healer, I wanted something new. Did I get it? no. Will I heal then? Probably not. It pissed me a bit on Stormblood, to have no new job in my favorite role, but I understood the reason, and, at the very least, they did give us an explanation why they won't release any healer or tanks on SB and only DPS.
In this keynote? Not. a. single. word. It's just a big "fuck you" sent to every healers here from Square Enix. They don't care about us. DPS were, again, more important. And, even if they want to make a "surprise new job" - which I highly doubt - tomorrow at the Live Letter or later like when they'll explain what they'll do to the battle system, they just pissed us for no good reason. Announcing it tomorrow won't change the fact that they probably ruined the weekend for a lot of people. I lost almost all my interest after dancer was officially announced as DPS. I was just pissed. And, if I had pay to go to the fan festival, my weekend there would have been ruined. And I'm 100% sure some people feels that way there.
So yeah, nothing new for healer, not a word or something, and they expect us to don't say anything and keep healing? Well, I'm going to try those new jobs and give up on healing then. And I kinda hope too that the queue will be stupidly long for everyone. Just to show to SE that you have to take care of every role, not just the DPS. They could have survive an expansion without any new jobs. -

Nah, i'm good with all 3 healer jobs at 70 and 2 tanks at 70.And to be honest there is little to no room for another healer, you have the pure with regen wipemage, the shield with debuff scholar and the card joker astro which is in between the 2, being different that it provides a slight buff .How would the 4th work?I'm really curious how the 4th would be.

An interesting idea. I mean the resources have already been allocated for SHB. However I don't see any better alternative to express the issue. Yoshi teased "oh look. a hammer *wink wink nudge nudge* hoping it would make people think geomancer. But he lied about male viera in his little 'maybe next fan fest' bit.
This whole 'tease the crowd to build hype and nothing but hype' has bit them in the ass hard this time round. There comes a point when you need to give concrete information to your customers instead of just hoping for impulse buys like shady companies like bethesda and EA.
