My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

I'm really disappointed... was really looking forward to getting another healer :(

That was quite the surprise. Though, I honestly would have been okay with either outcome. Both healers and Ranged needed an new job badly, but one just got the short end of the stick.

So we'll be going that long without a new healer, huh? Well, those that wanted to farm healer salt posts will be getting what they wanted...

It's not over... we could be getting a healer. Tho I am shocked it's a DPS and ranged at that. I might try it out now. Since it'll be different from monk which is what I was worried about.

No new healer regardless of class is kinda messed up.

They better show Healers love soon..

I'm really upset as a healer main but oh well I really wanted dancer. I guess I won't be a healer main this expansion

I'm just delighted Valla Ala Flamenco accompanied the reveal video, nothing wrong with more FFIX representation!

A shame if healers get nothing after all of this, hope he pulls a fast one and reveals a new healer.

It looks cool, but I am disappointed it is not a healer.

While there is a chance is was a mistranslation, the official english said "the 2 new jobs will be gunbreaker and dancer", meaning there won't be additional new jobs.

this is the best news! dancing on people's graves was a terrible idea lol. range is much more suitable.

How disappointing.

The fact that it's ranged DPS is kind of helping soothe the pain, but I am upset we're not getting another healer...

I do feel bad for healer mains though.

I can't lie - I'm disappointed. Especially since I was planning to switch to healers next expansion because I am tired of playing DPS in Savage.

But looks like I'll be a DPS again.

I'm stewing in my own salt right now. How do you seriously introduce ANOTHER dps class, and a tank but nothing for healers. This should have been a Tank/Healer expac reveal. It's been like what? 4 years since we got a healer? C'mon SE. Why do you hate us.

Next expansion, 3 healing classes.

2 ranged physical DPS currently, 3 healers. HMMMM

Turned off the stream. 2 more years without a new class is all I needed to know.

edit: Friend just sent me a text about the gender locked races. Shadowbringers is disappointing.

It will be 6 years without a new healer after Shadowbringers.

As a dps main for over 5 years and having wanted Dancer forever as healer, this is complete and utter bs.
Their was enough dps in the game until the very least 6.0

I expected Gunbreaker to a be a tank if it was destined to be a job at all. I'm happy with the end result. They genuinely surprised me with Dancer though. My sympathies, healers. A ranged dps is the last thing I would have expected. Hopefully it'll be fun to compensate for the lack of a new healer.

Oh yay, another DPS class instead of something new to try out as a healer. Maybe 6.0 will be our turn.
So disappointing that I've only been wanting Dancer since 2.0 was out to only find out it will be a bloody dps class. >.<

No new healer = huge disapointment.

While I'm really happy we're getting more options for physical ranged classes, kinda wish it was gunbreaker instead (blu for tank, dnc for heals)

I stopped listening. I thought I was upset with Stormblood. But really?! How is it ok for healers to go 6 years without a new job?

I am a little salty. I mean, the 3rd healer we got wasn't entirely new either, it was really just a switchable WHM/SCH with cards thrown in (saying that as an AST main).

Even if they did intro one as a "surprise" it's going to be super under hyped. They seriously just killed some healer momentum.

I'm actually considering it... I went Stormblood with no love for my main role (healer), nor my secondary role (tank)... now they've taken a job I was really psyched for and made it DPS, alongside showing no love for my main role once again... That really infuriated me.

I'm in the minority where I didn't see Dancer working as a healer in XIV, it worked in XI because XI actually supported the idea of true support classes. It makes more sense as a DPS in XIV, what would have been nice as a new healer for healer mains is something similar to Chemist or Geomancer, but god knows they'll make the excuse that we already have Alchemist as a crafter and Geomancer is already mentioned and has a part in the AST storyline.

I really hope there's a healer announced at some point in the near future before the expansion launches because it would be a massive disappointment to forego adding a healer to the game when the last Healer class was added years ago.

Between no male viera and no healer. I think they've upset a lot of people.

I think every major announcement about this expansion is making me less excited.
