[DEV???] So less than 6 hours to go

My question is thus will there be a link on lodestone or do we select what world we want to go to on out account management page or whatever could a dev be kind enough to answer please ... purrdy please :p

There will be an announcement on lodestone about it telling you what to do, I'm sure. Just gotta wait for it.

Is it sad I'll be moderately excited to see some kind of notice about the Server Merge on the lodestone because it means that there will now finally be a lodestone update? (Although I'd be substantially more excited to see the new Letter, but I have a strange feeling they won't double post on the lodestone since the Server Merge is kind of a big deal. And tomorrow is Friday sooo... *shrug*

Also, are you saying less than 6 hours because there was a concrete date/time I overlooked or are you just using PST Midnight as a reference point?

Taking this oppurtunity to make this question again...

The world transfer that we will get its just an application and then our chars will tranfered days later?
or the transfer will work in that moment when we apply?

It works like this:

Transfer Stage I: From a few hours from now until I believe the 12th. You can stay put or freely select any of the new servers to change to. This is only a selection. You'll still log back into the same old world, you're only confirming your intentions.

Transfer Stage II: From the 12th until the 19th, the selection period will stay open except the servers which have become full will become locked. Locked servers will not allow any new players to join and will prevent players from leaving that server. As of the 19th, all transfer selections will be made final, but no character data will be moved yet.

Transfer Stage III: March 27th. A long (likely grueling) maintenance will occur and all character data will be moved to the new servers and the old servers will cease to exist. When maintenance is finished, you will log in to your new world and can continue life as normal (and/or rebuild linkshells if you changed servers).


* If you do not intend on moving to a different server than SE has already suggested for you when they updated the Transfer notes, you do not have to do anything. SE will handle all of it for you and even your LS data will be carried onto the new world. *

It says it clearly in what I quoted to you. Tomorrow~19th is the application period, the 27th is the maintenance in which they'll be moving characters to their new servers.

The transfer to the world you choose will happen on March 27th. Till then you only have the application to the world you choose in lets say, a few hours.

3 hours and 20ish mins to go
