The overall zone is small

Not much else needs to be said. It's small, cramped and just a rectangle. Extremely lazy design. It is beautiful though.

Only one bunny fate / tying important items to said fate

What this results in are large amounts people camping the one bunny fate in the zone reducing the odds that you'll get a carrot. This makes attempting to increase your logograms slots extremely difficult. Some people have 10 flasks, some people have none.

Please consider allowing the flasks to be sellable. Or perhaps allow flasks and plates to be traded for each other

Also the fact that the Bunny Fate can be held hostage by people not dismissing their bunny or completing their objective needs to be changed ASAP.

This has happened every single time a Eureka zone has launched and why it wasn't changed is puzzling. This results in driving more people to camp the single bunny fate because there's not much else to do in the zone.

I just got out of a zone that didn't have a single NM spawn in an hours time.

I've went entire lockouts with just a handful of NM spawns.

Tying the story ending to the Baldesian Arsenal

Yoshi-P specifically said the arsenal would be optional. If you want to complete the story it's not.

I honestly like that hydatos is not that big and that you can reach everything pretty good without taking detours.

We had the feeling that the NM's spawned way better before the emergency maintenance this could be imagination but i doubt it.

Zone is fine in my opinion with nm's spawning pretty frequently. I have two characters at 60 with relics and I started a 3rd character today and she is already 54 and I'm just doing bunnies/nm's at the moment. I haven't done any chain leveling. The bunny fates would be nice if they gave more bunnies per fate or if they maintained two of them per zone. Overall I've been doing pretty well with bunnies and the best way to farm bunnies is still with a new or locked instance.

I think it would be nice if they upped the crystal drop because doing multiple relics on one character will be an effort.

I think they did good by making it a single bunny fate. If it was two like Pyros, no one would bother doing the high level one. And you'd see people complaining about why no one is doing the other bunny fate. And limiting the number of those who will get a bunny will also prevent people from just focusing on bunnies and doing nothing else. If people try to focus on bunnies and not help others spawn the NMs, then they should be prepared for the RNG. I rarely do the bunnies if there are a lot of people. When the instance is locked, then I do the bunnies and easily get lots of chests. And easily got a lot of flasks.

As for people holding bunnies, the fate takes roughly the same amount of time to respawn as the bunny timers. So even if there are bunnies out there it will still not spawn until the time passes. I haven't checked the exact time for each but In the many lockouts I've been, it takes around 10-12min for the fate to spawn after it's being completed.

The west side of the map is very easy to spawn. I've solo spawned a couple of them easily. The east side seems to be tricky though. Wetzuzu being the one I saw people kill a lot without him spawning sometimes. Maybe there's something else that people are missing.

Only fates that I've seen that have difficulty spawning are Ceto and PW. I've killed the latter 4 times, but have also seen groups killing claws for 3 hours and not get a pop.

Locking logos behind the bunny fates is the worst thing about the logos system. People don't do the north bunny fate in pyros because of all the tight corridors and the high density of mobs that get you killed. Given the Hydatos map, I think more people would do a 2nd bunny fate.

I think that is a good thing. I appreciate its openness, sensible quest and bun box locations, manageable mob density and no more sleeping dragons/sadistic chokepoints. I wish Pagos had been like this back when I was slogging through it. On foot. Knees deep in dragons. BOTH WAYS.

Indifferent about bunnies. They're probably my favourite part of Eureka and I don't particularly mind their Hydatos implementation (in fact I feel they're a lot more generous and safer than Pyros which is a welcome improvement), but that doesn't mean much. The least awful part of something awful is still awful.

I do agree with the rest of your points.

Maps fine
no cluttered hall way of sound aggro
No caves blocked by ads
No sleeping dragons
Plenty of open spaces so bunnies very very rarely lead you to death and can grab aetherites and the quest spots pretty easily
Last aetherite placed right next to PW spawn
It's simple and thats ok

This. PW seems to the the worst, but I've seen all the other NMs spawn frequently when people are actually prepping them. If you get a lazy instance that won't help prep, you'll of course see less NMs. Had one of those today where it was basically 1 group of 8 trying to spawn the higher level NMs. When we would ask for help, people would say "Not everyone is high enough level to spawn those", yet almost the entire instance was level 60. We finally kicked it into gear, but it was annoying to say the least. There were apparently some players who thought they would just spawn with zero prep, because they were complaining about how they never see the NMs, but were standing at the base camp the entire time.
They "can't help spawn PW or Ceto", yet they all come alive the minute they spawn, ready to kill it....

Putting rewards behind the bunny FATE is a mistake. It's all people want to do. Instead of helping prep NMs, they'd rather AFK for that bronze chest. I wish the NMs had chances to give players bunnies. It would have maybe incentivized players a bit more to help spawn them, rather than complain when only one group is trying to spawn a higher level NM and it hasn't popped yet.

Low NM spawn? I feel like we are not playing the same hydatos. Have you tried for example prep PW? Chain mobs for various purpose? you are constantly interrupted by NM spawns. I've not seen NM spawns this fast since anemos. Not only are NM's popping up all over the place you have the UFO popping every what 30min? I kid you not the past 2 days trying to do nm prep on PW the most Crystal claws we would kill would be 10 before another nm would spawn. It's actually annoying that they spawn so fast sometimes when you are trying to chain mobs.

Bunny Fate.. Well considering I never saw people do bunnies in pagos by the time I got around to doing it and pyros people only did the south bunny fate.. Can you really blame them for only putting in one bunny fate? This one sends you all over the map though so I'm not sure if it was much of a win. At least though when I am in a bunny group I don't have to listen to the occasional random whine about not doing the north bunny fate.

Some NM's aren't going to spawn because well lets face it the people who can spawn those are busy with BA. The people who aren't interested in BA and can spawn them are low in number. This will fix its self over time.

I love the zone, it isn't a cluster of death and unnecessarily large.

Story bits being gated behind BA, yeah not happy about hearing that. I suppose I may try to do it sometime or watch whatever on youtube. I'm not going to gripe that much about it. I still have uncompleted coils and HW trials.. not to mention SB trials. While I could do the more complicated content and certainly did have a static for awhile I just can't be bothered with that now days. too old I guess.. *shrug*

I can solo spawn west side nm's regularly. But the east side ones, those dont play nice.

People complained about Pagos being horrible and Pyros to an extent too. SE made one kinda like Anemos and people still complain.

In both Pagos and Pyros no one did the higher level bunny fates. Everyone did just the one. If they had 2 here it would most likely be similar. Also the zone is only 10 levels so it would be pointless to have 2.

They spawn very easily, about as easy as Anemos. People just aren't trying to spawn them. Every instance I've been in that doesn't have half the people in BA have NMs spawning left and right.

Hydatos is the best map in Eureka.

- Easy terrain, good teleport points, spread out mobs, good quest locations.
- One bunny FATE only is nice, although it should spawn more bunnies for participants. I have no problems with logos action expansion being tied to bunnies since it's optional.
- NM spawns seem normal to me. I hope the people in BA don't affect the scaling.

Bunny fates are killing activity, there tends to be 1-2 groups on fate spawn and the best thing for the rest to do is afk at the bunny spot and grab fates then they pop.

I went from 50-60 without getting a single mob grind group and now I'm 60 I can go 5 instances in a row without getting a fate spawn group. People just aren't bothered when afking at bunnies and leaving the spawning to someone else hits 2 birds with one stone.

Hydratos has a lot of improvements, the map is more player friendly, NM spawn is ok, rewards are fair, leveling is fast enough, but it's definitely the most boring instance so far, even more so than Pagos is right now.

Well of course in some instances will see low nm spawn rates.
And there are obvious reasons for this.A lot of people just afk at bunny fate waiting for others to spawn nm's for them.This has become much worse than it was in Pyros.
Then most of the others are all farming obscure logos at crystaline only killing the one type of mob.
In some instances i've spawned more NM's solo than the rest of the instance combined.

There's also the factor that 56 of those players might be in BA.

As for provenance watcher is just like Cassie there is another requirement we dont know which is why some instances never see it spawn.

Also OP your comment about BA being optional.No Yoshi didnt lie.It's completly optional.Eureka story is not main story quest so dont try twist meanings on this subject.You can get your finished relic and finished elemental armor without doing BA.All BA does is gives you some elemental bonuses on them designed as a progression method for clearing BA.
Sure it finishes story of Eureka but thats a personal choice and not something manditory to progress in the main game content.

Also if you want to talk about actual missing story through raids you'd be better off mentioning Bahamuts coil because it actually has relevance to ARR's main story and fills in the blanks not to mention it's relevant to story later on too.

Yesterday I spent almost the whole timer in a Fate Spawn group. We got everything on the west side quickly, then the monks and wraiths one on the east. We ended up in claws and made two chains of 30, one of 22, with a second group joining us halfway through. PW pops, we have 15 minutes left on our timer. The whole instance comes.
UFO pops, the whole instance leaves to UFO.
Eventually, we go back to PW, our team leader got timed out 30 seconds before PW's death, i had 2 minutes left when it died too...

So yeah, if UFO could stop praty crushing up, that's be great :D

You can spawn the left side and also the Watcher pretty easy, but the rest on the right side spawns extremly bad.

The problem is BA it self. People who want only do BA usually don't want to do anything. They either have finished their relic or they don't want to build relic. These people automatically hogging the eureka. (You will be surprised when they move and wait for NM support). What SE should do just remove BA and how to get in from eureka hydatos, put the instance BA queue on Kugane, abolished support fate, and if they return from BA (dead or no) will get leveled down (unless they beat ozma).
