The Sword In The Stone: Link Shell Introductions

Hello Everyone!
our Server being named after the sword that grants its wielder the title of King, I believe that there is a lot for us all to live up to. As a community I think that we should try our hardest to create a positive atmosphere on our server. With that said I know that there will be competition between Linkshells and players in general. I don't think we should discourage this because it will help our great server become the greatest, But I still believe that we can all be Civil. In conclusion, an introduction of Excalibur's Linkshells are in order.

LS Description: The Shattered Union of The Republic [SuTR] is one of the oldest Linkshells on Bodhum as well as a seven year old gaming community. Our community of gamers enjoy multiple games and live in multiple timezones. We have decided at the beginning of Final Fantasy 14 that we will be a well rounded Linkshell that can compete Hardcore, play Casually, be constantly Social, and have a Associate's in Roleplaying. At the end of the day, We seek adventure as well as meeting Linkshell goals and improving our player's skill.

LS Description: Date formed: November 2010 Language: Primarily English Timezone: EST/GMT+9/OTHER

The Eternal Path has no intention of becoming a large LS, but we are a leveling, crafting, social, and end game content linkshell. This is a very close knit linkshell where everyone is considerate and helpful, alongside being active and passionate about FFXIV.

We have members from all over the world and in different timezones, but we mainly operate in EST and into GMT +9 depending on schedules, etc. Also, our primary language is English, but that does not mean non-native English speakers would be denied a place in our LS, being as we have several non-native English speaking members.

We do not plan on recruiting a large number of players in the future, but if you are interested please apply and we will consider the application. We are not a "one pearl only" linkshell, but we are mostly interested in dedicated members and not so much casual members, or those currently very active in one or several other linkshells.

Our linkshell represents a path not always traveled in mmorpgs, but we are happy to walk our course with our dream of a friendly, supportive, and talented linkshell. We encourage all players to walk their own path; and we are happily awaiting our server merge to become a linkshell of the new world, 'Excalibur'!

LS Description: we lean towards the social side of things, with a good modicum of exploration thrown in, but several of our players have an affinity for high-level challenges. Also, because cooperation is vital to survive the sometimes harsh environment of Eorzea (and some of its darker denizens), we're open to working shoulder-to-shoulder with other linkshells.

Being based in Italy, we lean towards activity in the GMT range. Most of our players understand at least basic English, if not better, and a few of them have crossed over from FFXI. We welcome players of all ages, sexes and from all ways of life, as long as they can respect others and cooperate as a team, and above all, have fun together (taking it easy and with a wee bit of silliness doesn't hurt...)

Linkpearl policy: multipearl. Members of the Dodos are allowed to join other linkshells and vice versa, as long as they provide equal support and fun for all their fellow players.

LS Description: Primarily social, silly, irreverent, very active, helpful, commune style (we farm/craft/gather for eachother for free constantly). We do have a calendar on our site -restricted to members - which is filled with numerous events ranging from crafting parties to end-game mob fights. Since we lean more toward social than hardcore, some of our members join pickup parties to fulfill the occasional hardcore fix, so you'll likely meet many of us in those random parties!
*edit* Didn't think to add that FOB was a linkshell in FFXI run in part by Bittly (who matured into Bittly Machine) & Tarrs (who reincarnated as Insea Uten) on server Fenrir, a pair of bro & sis gamers. We mo-FOB-ers keep it tight like family!
