Cloud Strife is the main protagonist in Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and also appears in the spin-off games of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, including Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII- and Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-, as a supporting character.

An arrogant and proud swordsman at first, Cloud introduces himself to AVALANCHE as a former member of an elite warrior unit called SOLDIER who has turned mercenary, and uninterested in anything beyond his hired task at hand. He later discovers more about his past and, with the help of his friends, learns there is more to being a hero than possessing physical strength and fame, developing compassion for the Planet and people he fights to protect. He fights to protect the Planet against his nemesis, Sephiroth.

Cloud Strife wields large broadswords in battle, including the iconic Buster Sword, and has access to the most powerful weapons in the game. His Limit abilities involve his sword, and are the strongest, but take the longest to learn. Cloud also has the best all-around stats.

His clothes are in the game as a Veteran Reward. You get them in the mail once you've made two monthly subscription payments.

well...https://img.finalfantasyxiv.com/lds/...DJ4z5kZmfU.png I like of the clothes classic of Cloud and the advent attire are of remaker or remaster or whatever... the classical are ever better

Oh, that is different, isn't it? Sorry; I remember getting the outfit but I guess I didn't take a close enough look at it.

What comes after the picture you put in your post is an absolutely unnecessary copy paste from some FF Wikia.

That's the Advent's Children FF movie version of Cloud. Much better than his game clothes, IMO.

why not have buster sword glamour yet in ffxiv?

I'm just tryin' to have my coffee snob outfits for this game. And they're just about it with the added items in recent patches. Just missing some better pairs of pants to go with my scarf/sweater combo and boots with the furr out of a T-pain video. We've achieved real life status. xD

I'm not the unique one for buster sword http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...r-Dark-Knights very well... are much more people want buster sword for dark knight

Also remember that Limit Breaks have been in ARR since launch, where as DRK was only added in Heavensward and, given SE's reluctance to retcon fanservice gear that was a part of earlier events for new Jobs (aka, the FFXIII weapons), I don't see this happening I'm afraid.

Its cool to point out that he Buster Sword exists in the game in some form already, but The Buster Sword being used in a LB has nothing to do with the Buster Sword being a piece of equipment.

Not really. I would just look like everyone else then.

Sure. That would be neat!

Can I just have the Hardy Daytona instead?

Just pointing it out. If you want an answer, post it in that thread and maybe Enkidoh would reply to it. Just pointing out the fact that it's an item used as an already established piece for the game. Just not in item form. Would be cool, but at that point, I'd like to consider FFXI samurai since we're going off of essentially fanservice stuff. #notmysam2019
