I'm calling it now. It's Zettaflare/Zeta Flare.
Her ultimate attack turns everyone into donkeys.
Why Zettaflare?
i think Beatus Mirum (Happy surprise in latin) as it plays into the nature of pixies mischievousness while keeping a regal tone befitting the queen
Maybe out of the left field but I'm guessing it could be Fey Light, Faerie's Summon "Attack" in Tactics. In Tactics it was actually a heal but, then again, so was Lakshmi's Alluring Embrace...
I think she was talking about Aery from Bravely Default, Herald of the God Of Destruction Ouroboros, who eats timelines.
Aery gets eaten by her boss after failing to kill the party, after which he goes on to engage them himself, at first regenerating endlessly, regaining his full HP at the end of every turn, and when that regen get's shut down he starts healing himself by eating different iteration/timelines of the heroes homeworld instead.
"Ah, i am fully restored, as an entire world meets it's end! I wonder when the world you call your own will be destroyed. The longer you defy me, the greater those odds become! Surrender, offer yourselves willingly! Only then shall the remaining worlds be spared!"
That's the fairy being refered to here.
My guess is Midsummer Night's Dream.
I have to admit... if we manage to go the entire time with the Pixies and Titania without a reference (more like multiple references) to A Midsummer Might's Dream by Shakespeare, I will be very disappointed with Koji.
For those of you who don't know what that is... let's just say there are a lot of fairy pranks on mortals and other fairies (love juices in the wrong (right?) people's eyes, giving someone a donkey's head, making Titania fall in love with the person with the donkey's head, etc.) in it.
I shouldn't make topics when I've been up for over 20 hours.
Anyway, yeah. The Pixies reminded me of the Cryst Fairies. And that water fowl reminded Zettaflare exists. And this game likes their shout outs.
And it's not like it'll know Megidolaon.
She throws a glitter bomb at you. It's a permanent debuff. You're never getting that stuff out.
The name Titania as referring to a fairy queen actually originates from A Midsummer Night's Dream, though Shakespeare got the name from Ovid. Ask yourself if a creature from Irish folklore would really have a Greek name, and you'll realize it's true. Hasn't stopped people from continuing to use the name half a millennium later, though.
"Midsummer Night's Dream" is probably the most likely attack name, for that reason.
I just hope that they don't basically merge her and Oberon as one being and give her Oberon's personality. When my FC was discussing it a few mentioned her "distaste" of humans. I had to point out that in the story Titania and Oberon are fighting because she is caring for a human child. She is by far from a pushover, but does not detest humans as he does/did. Basically, if they can mimic how she was portrayed in Gargoyles, her representation will be perfect.
I do kind of hope that Titania would be based on Shakespeare's version, but I also am aware that Shakespeare basically made up the majority of what we imagine Titania is like in modern times, so any other rendition would probably be as valid anyway, even if they were completely different.
Unrelatedly, I do kind of hope that Il Mheg will get a minor incursion of Garleans with their magitech, and one of the pixies will describe these invaders as "rude mechanicals".
