Suggestion: 1.0 Adventurer-Armor for vanity?

So since I don't know where to post that, I'll just post it here xD
With the Shadowbringers trailer I've got remembered about that cool armor, the Adventurers in 1.0 were wearing. Like Derplander in the trailer etc.

I thought it would be kinda cool, if we could get that armor. As vanity or so.
Someone else would like that?

We need more vanity items in general. And maybe stop being so restrictive with Non relic glamours as well. The Royal Volunteer set showed that gear can be swapped to different roles without looking out of place. In other words Let healers have something other than gear that's either robes or overly saturated with white ;-;

True. Like old 1.0 equip. I just could wear my old plate armors as a healer for example and it kinda look cool xD
Would be even nice, if we could chose vanity for each job and not bind it to equipment... each free to play mmo can do that, so I can't understand why it is so hard for SE :(

But yeah, the Adventurer-Armor would be kinda cool for me. Even if it would be a mog station item or so xD

Wow that's amazing! I'd pay for that! Would need to be able to be dyed though!

They could make it one of the items you get with the special edition, maybe?

His armour actually isn't anything that special though, which is the essence of the joke in that scene - it's just a stylized low level harness and thigh boots you can already get in game (only the CG version has more detail and embellishments than the actual in-game version has).

Also the irony is, that armour isn't even Derplander's true 1.0 gear either - he only wore that in 1.0's opening movie in an Echo scene! Instead his 'true' armour.... is a plain old tabard and pants... which again you can already get in game anyway so making a close enough replica of his 1.0 outfit should be fairly easy (although finding an exact match for that colour to dye it might prove difficult).

Lower your expectations! Their a small indie dev with only 500 people on their mmo staff!

But in all seriousness if SE would stop wasting resources on stuff like Eureka that the vast majority of the player base despises. And spent it on features like this and actually communicated with the player base. Like seriously, I guarantee you the resources spent on the map, actions, and UI took up a good chunk of resources. That's why at the release of SB they said they made less dungeons for "new and exciting content!"

You can see this armor set (with some slight variation?) on several people in the trailers background (the section before, and during the Viera Dancer). It would be really nice to have this set along with some of the other gear you see people wearing. Hopefully they are bringing it in somehow. I would like this set, or even just parts of it, for my character.
I am getting tired of everything being a trench coat or robe too... (I love long coats IRL, but I dislike the physics in FFXIV for long garments).

Yes, we should able to dye anything too... if they are worried about altering the theme of a set, at least let us dye the accent colors? Would like to see some things not be gender locked too. I would like to wear the Scion Rogue's Armguards on my character and don't see why I shouldn't be able to...

Considering it's featured in a trailer (not counting 1.0's trailer) we may actually get to wear it now.

There's nothing wrong with all white outfits, look how good my toon looks wearing her healers outfit in one of the snow maps.

This is one of those things that is making me wonder if, for once, we're *not* following our version of the Derplander in the trailers, but the Derplander from the other world. I'm probably wrong, but it's an interesting thought.

It would be nice if they let us buy from a vendor, the "Dated" gear (All classes, level 1) since its already in the game, but the only way to get it was transfer your 1.0 character to 2.0 (i still have some).
