Good Macro for Mog (not a vague thread title)

/ac "Rampart" <me>
/wait 5
/ac "Sangunie Rite" <me>
/wait 5
/ac "Sentinel" <me>
/wait 8
/ac "Sacred Prism" <me>
/ac "Stoneskin" <me>
/wait 10
/ac "Second Wind" <me>

Thats one set of skills u can use and pop the macro
right as the mogs are formed in a circle singing or whatever.
It will get you out of the dance part at 100% hp and all buffed by just popping one macro if everyone use it at the same time.. just need to get the timming down and that is all.
Also dont forget the command /as to get everyone hitting the correct mob at the sam time.
If you have one guy let's say player one targeting mobs everyone else can make the macro
/as <player 1>
that way anything the player one is hitting everyone will automaticly target and there!!!
no confusion on what everyone needs to be hitting :)

Oh and another thing for tanks.

After the Astral thing instead of second wind you can do this

/targetenemy (Good King Moggle Mog XII)
/ac "Flash" <t>
/targetenemy (Ruffletuft Kupta Kapa)
/ac "Provoke" <t>

So ya just a tip on this thing.
Feel free to replace any of the skills Like DDs can use Chameleon instead of Second wind, just use these /waits and you are good to go

This is a decent tip. However, given that CON's stoneskin is more effective than any other class, i usually ask the dps/tank to use sacred prism cure, whilst one con uses AOE stoneskin before Mog Ultimate, and the other CON do use it just after.

This ensure's entire party is buff and fully healed, whilst using minimal MP.

Meanwhile, the con that uses prismed stoneskin just after also uses protect before.
And the THM (if you have one) uses prismed sanguine rite just before for the mp regen/damage reduction and blizzara just after to try and bind stuff.

Just throwing more ideas out there.

Good job but personally I prefer to have all my macros separate.

Tanks want to throw an aoe Cure, not Stoneskin.

I didn't say Tank should stoneskin...
That is just an example as i mentioned several times. everyone fixes it so that it matches his class and such...
There isnt really a need for tank to do either stoneskin or cure.
There are 7 other people doing that.
When i tank (most of the time)
All i do after sentinel macro is Second wind (if needed)
and then proceed to the second macro to claim hate from the MRD and the King...

Well no wonder you were raging at the thaumaturges stealing hate, because there is an excellent reason for the tank to use cure, especially aoe cure. It's an easy way of building a lot of hate really quickly via restoration points.

Think:
500 points of healing -> over 350 hate per heal -> x8 for the full party = over 2800 emnity points on every moogle, which puts most other emnity-generating move to complete shame.
Then wrap it up with sentinel and rampart in the correct order and you get an earth-shattering roar of emnity.

Which prevents people like me getting wailed on.

I disagree with your setup, heres my take on the order and reasoning

Sacred prism - pop this as they are getting up - lasts a minute, no need not too

Provoke + flash the king - needs to be before Rampart as rampart only affects engaged targets

Rampart - tadaa~

Cure on self - let a mage deal with stone skin, get 8 man cure hate should leave you with at LEAST 5 moogles on you.

second wind should not be needed, if you have a conjurer enhanced stone skin and your own 500hp cure you should be full... you will need second wind soon enough with all the mogs on you though :).

When tanking moogle I normally have every moogle on me except Whiskerwall and the current target :)

Well overcuring gives hate even if you get healed for 0. So you might as well use Second Wind too.

No point wasting right away. I've never not had hate on everything at this point and second wind gets used almost straight after from having 6 mogs on me!
