It's dapper, not girlie. Cause traditionally Blue Mage is a very dapper class.

I honestly don't see how those animations are girly. In fact, the male and female variants of them, similar as they may be, have small differences. As AnimaAnimus said, they are a very dapper job. The kind of look you'd expect from a type of very high society.

I think the word you're looking for is Swagger. And yes blue has it. While I do agree a lot of gear is modeled for female characters this set is literally a recolor of the Valkyrie's magic sets. (which are my favorite by the way).

Honestly I don't know why you're even complaining. Casters have always had more variety than healers who have a wardrobe of mostly white.

I've you really need a 'manly' gear set then consider taking up tanking. The glams are very masculine and Tanks are always in high demand

This game is made in Japan by the developers who want to keep as many gamer grills as possible.

Thats why they put so much effort into making stuff for girls. I believe thanks to that, community in this game is the most kind one in the mmorpg genre.

Masculinity is a subject that changes based on the cutlure.

What a person may deem as masculine may not be the same for another person raised in a different culture due to different expectations of appearance, habits, and roles.

For Blue Mage pose and victory, he/she seem more for that stage magician habbits of showing off before performing a magic act. Nothing really masculine nor feminine about it but just a reflection of the BLU role as a Stage Magician to entertain people who has come to watch the show.

I am someone who does want shorter, masculine hair and better glams for men but...

BLU is not girly. I would in fact say it's pretty masculine. We get a tuxedo and a pimp cane and it's very dapper.

I'm happy for you that you feel so more intelligent and better doing the same exact thing you seem to hate. It's an online forum. You are free to express your opinions, and others are free to do the same. That also means that people have the right to agree or disagree with you, and you have the same right to agree/disagree with other peoples' posts. You apparently can't handle that though.

It's fairly neutral imo. Being a showman/woman isn't really gender exclusive.

I tested BLU animations on my Miqote and ya i found it girly, it was diffrent on my Highlander cause ya it looked dapper.

But BLU wasn't my main subject so don't focus on it by mixing it with the tittle....but well it's the fav game of the trolls.

Don't think there's any reading between the lines required. The very first response to your thread didn't help I'm sure, but you should have at least made an attempt to respond in a civil manner to the people trying to have a civil discussion. You don't have to agree with them, but they don't have to agree with you either.

I am quite impressed there were no words about gayness of the game yet in this thread.

And before they were the Valkyrie sets, they were the Thief DPS sets from the Arboretum and Pharos hard mode. So you can get variants for every role except tank and dragoon, I think.

Also I've said before, healers get plenty of non-white gear, and the white parts are often dyeable. Just look through the marketboard.

Edit to add: re. your other comment about tanks being more masculine - they still get their own share of skirts, kilts and long robes, including some floor-length skirts. Just like healers get a number of things that are not at all the "stereotypical healer" design that gets so frequently complained about.
