Direct x fatal error 11000002

Hi,
I've returned playing ff14 since two years, been playing without any problems for 2-3 weeks untill 2 days ago. I've checked many forums and seen many people having this error, but found no apparent solution. With direct x 11 the game just crashes and closes. With direct x 9 the screen just freeze (audio keeps going) for about 2 minutes. This happens very often (once every 2-10 minutes). My video card is an Nvidia geforce titan and I'm playing on windows 7 ultimate

Solutions I've already tried:

cleaning dust from pc
update video and audio drivers (full uninstall and installation)
revert to older video drivers
changed audio card
installed Afterburn, turned on video card voltage, or reduced its power to 90-95%
changed game specs to minimum
turned audio off ingame

Abizboah could you provide a system report? Please goto the "Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.' Have you tried doing a cleanboot on the PC or uninstalling and reinstalling the game?

When you reinstalled the game, did you delete the locally-saved files (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV)? Make sure to create a backup of this so you can replace it if it doesn't solve the issue.

I'd also recommend a clean boot. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box, and then press Enter to start the System Configuration utility. On the General tab, click the Selective startup option, and then click to clear the Load startup items check box. On the Services tab, click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.

Try this, this has worked for me.

Open up the launcher and then config, then reset system settings. I used to get that error after 15 minutes of playing and after doing that haven't had the error since. You have to redo any graphics settings you may have had / UI but it works.

still nothing.. deleting the "my games" folder would have had the same effect

Please try changing the compatibility mode by right clicking on the exe file (Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn\boot\ffxivboot.exe), right click it and select ‘Properties.’ Select the ‘Compatibility’ tab and select Windows 7.


Also have you tried changing the resolution of the screen size at all? Such as playing on full screen mode, border less or windowed mode? Also try lowering the resolution as well

Tried, but still crashing

Also tried running ff14 from a different hard disk, still crashing..
My subscription should end around the 27th of this month, don't know if I'll be able to test the game on a friend account or maybe a trial one(?)

Forgot to add this in as well. Change your game to borderless window mode.
