You may know Namae from her various concept art for character outfits, such as Lyse and Yotsuyu, as well as job-specific gear in Stormblood and much more!

Villain Gear (L1 Glamours)

Can you please look into L1 villain FF-themed glamour gear for all jobs?

- Kefka (definitely Kefka, please please please Kefka gear for all jobs)
- Sephiroth
- Kuja
- Jecht
- etc

And please make it available for all jobs!

Non-Traditional Tank Gear (Lighter Clothing)

I get it, we're tanks. But often our gear looks the least exciting out of all the jobs. And we're all jealous of the bards.

Can you please offer more chest-exposed gear, such as chain mail jackets or a leather trenchcoat without an undershirt?

Free Company Tabards/Emblems (Question for both Ayumi and Yoshida simultaneously)

AYUMI, would you please consider redesigning how our FC emblems look on our gear or a new tabard/armband/clothing accessory, maybe 3x larger than it is now?

YOSHI P: It would be really nice if this was offered from a new token/achievement system for queueing with at least one member of your Free Company preformed in daily roulettes. This game heavily encourages the commendation system to not play roulettes with your FC members to get more commendations and it has severely weakened the bond among players and reduces long-term friendships in the game. There's just zero incentive to play with your FC mates in roulettes and people don't stick around as long if their FC friends play without them. Players should have more incentives to ask their FC mates if they'd like to queue with them.)

Do you keep in mind the character's personality when you design their outfit, or focus more on their role in the story?

how come what most of the recent lvl 1 pants we get for male are always long pants and for female is short pants? it could be nice what could be done the reverse to give male character players a chance to show more leg as well to make it fair, because i as a female character player i struggle to find nice long pants

Can we have old noctis gear from ff XV? With he beard and old age haircut also. And Lyse dyeble gear on the ending of stormblood would be aewsome too. Can we have more sexy gears to all classes please? Like the Lyse ones, Fran, some gear similar like 2B from Nier Automata, Tera, Rose from ff series and the other Lightnings outfits. As customization seems a thing that we need to work out we will able to receive Butt Slider and more faces on the next expansion?

Will you consider another hairstyle design contest? If not, will you consider long cornrowed braids and long loose dreadlocks both embellished with a few tribal beads available for all race and both gender?

Hey there!

A lot of the gear in the game is either reskins or recolours of gear that we’ve already seen or ideas from the player design contests, but with Shadowbringers will we see new and original designs throughout the expansion?

Would it be possible to create "Default" character outfits for the warrior of light, just like all the scions have a default character outfit. I enjoy seeing how our companion's outfits change with each expansion but I always feel left out when Tataru doesn't have an outfit for me as well.

Yes we have the racial specific outfits, and our AF outfits that are unique to our character, but I would like to see a "story specific" outfit that our character gets through the MSQ along with all the other scions.

Please, please, please, please can we get the chocobo-taloned boots for glamour purposes?
NPCs are wearing them, they're all over the Prima Vista. Those of us with Chocobo-related glamours would LOVE to be able to wear a set of THESE boots...

Question 2. Speaking of Chocobo Related costumes and glamours... Can we have our Miqote tails hidden while wearing the chocobo onesie costume? It sortof looks rather embarassing right now.

Can we have the option to change it between ARR, HW, SB, and eventually Shadowbringers as well? I LOVED the Quest accepted/completed music from HW, and would love to be able to adjust the Venture music to that.

Can we have masks for all the other Primals as well? I believe right now we only have Ifrit and Titan.

Can we have Carbuncle theme wallpaper and flooring? Maybe even themes for the Primals as well??

Please please pleaseeeeee can we have a music roll for the field music in Mor Dhona? And also a music roll for the music at Saint Coinach's Find?

Will there ever be a way to obtain mounts/minions/music rolls from OST's, artbooks, etc, that have since expired? I would really love the Wind-up Dalamud minion!

May we have a portrait of this delicious Elezen please? I must have his handsome face gracing the walls of my house!

Will this ever happen? I'd love to align myself with Ishgard so I can have Aymeric be my 'boss' :D

Will we ever get to go through here? What lies beyond it?

I mean, we have Millioncorn, so why not have a Popcorn recipe?

Beastmaster has always been one of the most beloved and versatile jobs in the FF universe.

Due to the NPC in game having beastmaster, would it be safe to assume that you will finally be giving us this exceptional class that can solo with ease, tank for a party, or dps with the rest of a raid?


(There are so many methods of implementing the class and using the available mobs in game to charm and raise to fight with or for)

Since EU FanFest is Feb 2-3, 2019, it's safe to assume Feb 10 is the wrong date. The Lodestone Announcement states the date and time as Feb 3, 2019 at 1:00am (PST). Can we get the date (and possibly the time if that is incorrect as well) updated? Thanks!

1) What design was the most challenging for you, or perhaps was declined by directors and thus forced you to revisit it more than you would have liked to?

What advice or wisdom would you have for aspiring concept artists? I'm a big fan of your work and would love to know what it is that inspires you!

Can you please implement ilvl restrictions to all the roulettes in DF that don't have it? For example, it is possible to enter Sirensong Sea with an ilevel as low as 100?

Also would you please consider a "delete all" function to the blacklist so I don't have to manually remove banned RMT players when I need to empty it.

There's been some demand for less long robes for healers and casters lately. Would it be possible to make some of our gear closer to DoW gear in appearance? I'd really love to have more cool, manly gear options as a healer!

The implementation of the Ivalice arc in the most recent raid story line merging into the upcoming expansion was extremely well done, and I for one loved how it turned out with the ending of the story line in Orbonne Monastery.

My questions lie for future releases, since this has gone over so well can we expect to see things from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance in the future since that is where the Viera first appeared? I for one would love a glamour set of Ritz Malheur, and speaking of Viera, can we expect to see longer hairstyles as is cannon and lore for the Viera race?

I have to say, I really like Lyse's new outfit, once she decided to become her own person and then Tataru took it upon herself to dress her. I liked the Yda outfit, too, but it lost a lot of its charm and mystique without the mask. When Tataru said, "Hey, Lyse, can you come over here for a minute?" I knew Lyse would be getting a new outfit. I said to myself, "I hope it's sexy," and I was not disappointed. Nice work, Namae-san!

Could you share some of your designing processes for the various jobs' iconic artifact gear sets?

For example, while some jobs have static thematic inspirations (Black mages are wizards with a pointed-hat, Paladin's have lighter-shaded heavy armor and Warrior's have barbaric elements in their outfits), other jobs seem to have more available liberties or have differed wildly in presentation (Scholars had a strange Neo-Victorian steampunk set with feathers in Heavensward, Astrologians went from a stylized witch to having elements of gypsies and Summoner... Really only shares having a horn in all three artifact sets...)

And speaking of Summoner, the Stormblood artifact appears very... "busy." What was the inspiration for this rendition?

Are there any plans, and could there be plans, to release a real life version of the Astrologian deck?

Can we please get fundoshi glamours in the game?

Do you have any updates on the release of new egi glamours?

Would it be possible to get a new ‘black mage’ skill line for our chocobo companions? I’d love to rank up higher and have Choco Meteor and Choco Ball from Final Fantasy Tactics.

Any chance we could get additional companions eventually? Thinking Maggie the magitek armor and Midgardsormr would be good companions. Lol.

Will we get to see male Viera (and play them, assuming they are indeed the new race) and is their clothing as minimal as the female’s? ^_^
