LS UI / can we see it

I was hoping for LS management to be remade for 1.21 since that's when Yoshi had posted they were aiming for(there was a dev post that said it but i cant find it, if someone can post it id be grateful).

Maybe the Dev team could at least get some examples or screenshots of the interface so we can see some of the changes that will be made. Some people would be fine with minimal changes to resemble ff11, I however hope that in 2012 they can come up with something that more closely competes with rival games.

So since we dont get any info on 1.21 :mad: i was hoping that some info on LS plans could be shared, TY.

yea, i already made 2 threads on that,lol. Id love to see what they have planned thats taking so long. In game calender maybe, a way to rank up your LS perhaps, bank, housing.. the list goes on.

A clear visible indicator of if a member has stopped their subscription to go together with the ability to remove people would doubtless be useful as well, or perhaps a 'Last online X hours ago'.

I personally an not in charge of any LS's so idk how it all currently works. However, i like how you can be part of a few different one and the only beef i have with that is how you have to actually change LS's in the main menu to talk to them. Just having a simple code to type in would make me very happy. :)

basically all LS's are now are user made chat channels. Other games have things like i posted above. I think most games also allow you to remove members too.

I really don't get what the year has to do with anything. People are still copying a 2004 MMORPG and we still don't have consumer hovercrafts that was stated to be technology of the future in the 2000s, this was back in 1987 btw.

I don't recall them ever stating LS interface would be overhauled for 1.21, I clearly remember them stating due to the server infrastructure they can't do much with it until they're on new servers/2.0.

since they made the change to allow you to remove party members from afar I dont see why they couldn't do so with LS as well or even give the ability to do it to offline members (dont mean to derail your thread more than i already have Syntax, sorry bro) I can understand having to wait for full LS overhaul until 2.0 but even the small amount of control I mention would make a lot of LS leaders happy. We have had to reform 8 times now.

yes i had that prob in HY when we had a more open recruit process.

And to elxia, im not gonna dig up the post for you, but it said

Ls overhaul is planned for 1.21, we plan to start working on it right after the search feature however this will be a difficult task. you can look for the post if you want.

Lets not forget allow us to see where linkshell members are from the linkshell UI, they can do it with the player search, so it shouldnt be that hard with the linkshell UI.
