Long ago, YoshiP traveled to europe to interview with a lot of websites talking about the game changes and now, after several months we all have lots of questions. I think we can make a list, and hope next YoshiP interview to be with us.

- Do not hesitate to correct any grammatical errors that may have questions or may be complex to understand.
Armory System / Job System
General
Q: Class/Job system will be the same from 1.23 to 2.0?
Q: In the future, if there are more than one job per class, will they use same weapons?
Q: We will see Hybrid Jobs? in that case, how it work?
Q: Some games uses diferent Skill effect if you are using it for PvP or not. We will see something like this, or do you plan to balance skills to work in PvE and PvP?
Disciples of the War & Magic
Q: Are you planning to add a Rogue/Thief class with the next wave of new classes?
Disciples of the Hand & Land
Q: Jobs are planned in the future for DoH & DoL?
Q: Will there be a way I can have a crafter make me a piece of gear or affix a piece of materia to my gear without having to trade to him and trade back?
Combat
Q: There will be a Battle Regimen or any other multi-player combo with 2.0 release?
Q: Will be able to change weapons in combat if you are not changing your class?
Q: AoE Skills will need to have a target as a center, or is there a plan to have some ground target skills?
Q: Some players think PL need to be changed/removed. There are plans for this?
Q: We will have parties alliances? how many players can join this alliances?
Q: Will be posible to prevent players outside your party to attack your engaged monster?
Q: Will monsters fights have a longer duration than right now? feels useless to have Combos, to can break monster parts, or to attack from diferent locations to deal more damage if they die in 2 seconds.
Interface
Q: There will be two official interfaces? (one for Keyboard users and another one for gamepad users)
Q: Can you give a simple example of something able to do with interface customization?
Q: Updater/Login will be remade too with 2.0?
Q: Trade interface have now 4 slots, there will be a change on this?
Q: With addons will be posible to create a Fan-made translations of game content?
Q: We will be able to interact with NPCs while we are mounted?
Q: Will be posible to read our battle log chat ingame with addons?
Q: Inventory will be a list of items like is right now, or a visual bag like other games?
Materia
Q: There will be Bosses droping rare Materia in the future?
Q: Will items have a max number of Materia you can affix?
Q: Materia with chances to stun/paralize/poison your target will be posible?
Q: Using different Materia types on the same item, will improve our success rate?
Quests
Free Companies
Q: In October, you explained to us that Free Companies will be like Guilds in other games, this means Linkshells are going to be social chats?
Q: Can you talk us a little more about Free Companies? seems will be important to us in the future.
World
Q: Our world will be splitted in diferent zones with transitions. Will be posible to change zones in diferent points of the map, or we will need to go to the "door" to can change from one to another?
Q: Swimming will be posible in 2.0?
Q: With jump in the way, do you feel like falling from heights with damage and plataform content is something needed?
Q: Can you talk a little about new environments maps?
Q: 2.0 engine can support true flying creatures? not floating creatures.
End Game
Q: From 1.23 to 2.0 Primals fights will be the same they are now?
Q: Dungeons planned before 2.0 will be there after 2.0?
Q: Will 2.0 come with new endgame Dungeons/Fights?
Q: We will have dificult levels in some dungeons?
Transport
Q: We will see diferent speed on diferent mounts?
Q: Personal boats or airships?
Q: Animas in 2.0 will exist?
Q: Will be there something like auto-travel in other games?
Mini Games
Q: In Roadmap for Version 2.0 we can see Parley as something planned. Will be the same system we have now?
Q: Is plannned a chocobo breeding or a pet system?
Q: We will see something like this in Phone Apps?
Game Aesthetics
Q: Will any actual race have a physical modification like heigh, adding tails, ears?
Q: Will there be more face options for 2.0 that better reflect the international audience?
Q: What do you think about ingame advertisement?
Q: Wil demi-human or dragon race be playable?
Q: Something new on character customization post 2.0?

Q: Any plans to alter the success rate while bonding materia IF you use different category types?
i.e. bonding a Bloodthirst IV + a Strength IV + Fire Veil IV (HP +70 Str +20 fire resist +15) has a higher chance of success over bonding same/similar category materia : Strength IV + Savage might IV + Heavens fist IV (str +20, Crit att +70 , Att power +30)
to encourage players to use a variety of materia rather then just a select few to up HP/MP or increase damage output? -

Will there be more face options for 2.0 that better reflect the international audience? - Developers have said they like having characters represent themselves but the creation options seem to be limited and don't reflect everybody. It's kinda like how in XI there were no black guys, in 14 you can give a char black skin but you can't give him facial features representative of a black guy.
To the swimming question I believe that was answered in an interview, he said like they'd have to consider it through an expansion pack, which I think would be awesome, swimming made FFX so much more dynamic. If they added that, all the people asking for a card game, well how about blitzball?
Will there be relic weapons like there were in XI, and if there are will they be designed so that very few can obtain them? (Please don't make it easy on people :/ )

Have you guys considered picking up sponsors? Okay kind of a for fun question. Pop ups would be annoying but I think some in game advertisements could be funny. I picture being out in the open world and seeing an airship flying by with an "Eat at Joe's" banner on the back. Or like how the moon is red now, they could make the bottom part blue and make it look like the Pepsi logo.
Although they have lost a lot of money on this game, I wouldn't mind it at all especially if it paid for new content. -

What's the amount of actual playable content we can expect at the start of 2.0? How many new dungeons? Instances for larger groups? Or will we been playing for a few weeks and then already be starving for several months till the next patch?

Materia
Any plan to change the materia scaling system to alleviate inventory and remove useless scales ? +/-1, 2 or 3 stat don’t matter much in the new stats system where stats go over 300. Perharps we could have stackable NQ and HQ materia for each tier instead of 5 versions? -

Those aren't job weapons. They're thinking about a system for 2.0 where very very high quality crafted weapons can apply for recognition as a Legendary weapon, e.g. Excalibur. That weapon will then temporarily become Legendary.

How many more choices will we have for character customization? Will there be a name change service? Is there still plans to make demi humans and Dragon playable races? can we see screen shots of all the new races?

will pl'ing be changed/removed or made so it don't work as well past rank 50? and will full party job grinds be available like old school ffxi grinds?
these 2 are the most important to me and if i had the answers to them right now i could easily know if i'm playing this game for a long time or leaving. -

Any ideas on the board for new/existing areas? (snowfields and marshlands for example)
If there is a summoner class/job, would it use classic summons like in XI, monster summons like in XIII-2, or something else entirely? -

Come on guys help contribute to this, would be better the FFXIV community got an interview instead websites that waste questions on things like "What sort of hobbies do you enjoy?" "Do you use as much shampoo as Sephiroth?"...
Could we see a Limit break system like FF7-FF10 all had? - I just see a lot of potential here, People loved 2 hours in XI but I know Yoshi P didn't want us to time events around an ability. They could have a limit bar reset after every fight is over so each fight you start from 0 anyway and have it though you would only get the chance to use one in a longer fight like a primal battle. They could also be a lot flashier/explosive than weaponskills since they'd be harder to use (something on the level of the actual limit breaks from 7-10 would be nice)
Would also be the perfect middle ground for those who do/don't want a death penalty. Limit bar could reset upon death or at the very least it wouldnt be building up while dead.
makes the battle system more dynamic, adds huge excitement factor
With PvP coming in 2.0 will we see an event like the Ballista Royale?
How long after 2.0's launch would it be until we saw an expansion pack? -
