My first week in FFXIV!!

Hi guys!
just finished my first week playing FFXIV and want to share my feeling about the game.

It has been a blast for me!
The graphic was so good.
The leveling is fun and not repetitive at all.

But the best thing about this game, for me, is the people in it.
I have played MMO before (WOW,etc) but some mechanic of this game are quite overwhelming such as, tanking but everyone on the instance group is very calm and always give me a good advises.

Yesterday, I ran into this dude while I'm trying to get the company Chocobo.
He saw me running back and forth (Cause I don't know where to get the Insurance paper) So he help me out, plus, he craft a full set of gear for me without asking for anything in return. He also teach me a lot about tanking and said that he is a "Mentor" which I don't know anything about. His name was "Cidolfas Silverwing" (I'm playing on Adamantoise), Gotta shout out for this guy!

This game is very cozy, peps were lovely. Hope I can ding LV.cap and then enjoy the endgame soon.

Might be too late but if you haven't paid subscription yet (can't recall if you can run the thirty free days without doing so) then you can nab someone's recruit code for some free extra stuff.

Not totally sure what Adamantoise's NN is like, but you could always ask one of the Mentors (the players you see walking around with little crowns next to their head) if you could be invited to the "Novice Network." On my server our NN is pretty chill and Mentors usually jump at the chance to help Sprouts (new players.) It can be a good place to get quick answers or have interesting discussions about different aspects of the game. I will warn you that the channel isn't policed by SE or FF14 mods, but by the players themselves, so the atmosphere of the NN can vary wildly by server. Keep that in mind if you decide to join.
