"already owned" indicator on TT cards, orchestrion rolls, minions, one-time-use items

I have nothing against the current roll systems and I have no wish to change it, I just wish there was some sort of indicator in the item details box whether or not I have an orchestrion roll, TT card, minion, emote, etc. It's a pain to try to go searching through lists while other folks are waiting for me to roll, and I'd like to know whether or not to need or pass something in case my FC mates also need a chance at it. I know you already have indicators, since we get alerts if we try to buy orchestrion rolls we have, etc., so can we just make it an indicator on the text? [OWNED] or something of the sort?

ive wanted this for a while, just to be able to mouse over the item and see a marker that I already own the item.

Double riding maps a thing...

Not as big a deal with riding maps, just click a map in the shop list and if you've already gotten it, it won't even let you buy. The same thing goes with pretty much anything else that cannot be traded/sold, such as certain orchestrion rolls (the ones that are sellable though, the game will happily let you rebuy, of course)


But yeah, in general, I support an [Owned] tag anyway for all of this kind of stuff.

If it's a unique-untradeable item, it already won't let you roll if you own it. But yeah, I'd want to see this expanded to those that are tradeable. It's annoying having to check my orch/minion/TT list to see if I own something before rolling on it. If I own it, I'd rather just pass on it and give someone who doesn't have it the opportunity to get it.

Not universally true though, the game will let you roll again for TT cards you've already registered. This isn't actually pointless to do though, because you can still exchange them for a bit of MGP, but some people would rather let people who don't have the card lot on it instead if they already have it, and people might not keep good track of which cards they already have.

Yeah, good catch. I forgot about those TT cards. But if it's unique-untradeable and can't be sold on (even for MGP), then yeah, it can't be rolled on (AFAIK anyway). But even so, I still support the idea to add an owned tag, as I'm one of those who would rather let people lot on it who don't have it.

For consumable one time items like this, it'd be a great addition.

Please do this for crafter and gatherer books, too.

It's a pain in the neck having to click on everything just to make sure I have them.

I'd rather they make it so using a TT card you already have just gives you whatever MGP value it has, instead of going to the TT card trader every time.

But for the other stuff, yeah.

If it's an orchestrion roll or a minion, anything you can trade later, I usually roll just to ensure my sub-group's chances of getting it. Then we fight it out among ourselves.

But I completely agree to everything else. This is horribly belated. Especially since I already can't roll on raid minions I own, so the system exists

Yeah this would be nice. I like to collect stuff (minions, orchestion rolls, etc.) and whenever they're available to be rolled on in a duty I can never remember if I already have it, so I end up rolling anyway.

I am just not sure why this is not already in the game, especially with the big amount of items we can have.

I really hate it when it's a minion specially before we had the search function. I do sometimes roll on things I already own partly due to knowing others who love collecting the rolls and minions. If I end up winning it I tend to give it to the FC mate/friend if they were there on the run with me. I support this for the times I do pass things up or don't remember if it's a only if you don't have this can you roll on it type item.

For bind-on-acquisition items, if you cannot roll them as it happens with some minions, will be fine to me.

Yes please, i have been wanting this as a quality of life update for a long time.

Yeah, I mean TT are really the only thing you can roll on, have, and not trade, but it's definitely a QoL thing. Same when someone drops off a bunch of music in the FC chest: cue either 20m of searching (since, unless you're there when it drops, the names aren't always intuitive and it doesn't tell you what category they're in) or having to click on them all.

Meanwhile, if I could roll on 24-man minions to give away I'd be happy, I get why those are bound but dang.

Made a post the other day on this, I'd really like the category/number on each of them in both complete and un-crafted form, but just getting something that's marked "already known" on all of this would be great.

The GM's in game say to put suggestions in GD.

Also either way I kinda need this. I keep forgetting which cards I have and if it's 24 man where I roll for them, I'm gonna just do it because I might not have it.

A green checkmark in the corner of the icon would be great. The inventory system is already set up to allow a little symbol in the corner of item icons (blue X for unequipable gear); it shouldn't be too much work to adapt that to a green checkmark for already-unlocked unlockables.
