Hello everyone, as the title says I have a question about optional items. Specifically items from the moonfaire events. I missed the opportunity to do the quest this year for the endless summer set, and one of the pieces is a key item for a glamour set I'm wanting to make. My question is roughly how long does SE wait till they add such items to the optional item store after the said event has ended? Unfortunately I can't find any other item for this particular slot that works as a similar substitute for the look I want.

What slot are you looking for though? Depending on it, there might be possible "replacments" that you overlooked.
I could see the Minstrel's Spectacles or the Shaded Spectacles working as "cool glasses" instead of the ones from the summer event - or the Classic Spectacles if you want big glasses.
The Gryphonskin Breastguard looks a bit similar to the Moonfair top.
Finding a replacement for the pants should be easy enough - there are tones of those, just without the flowers.
For the shoes you could go "barfoot" (because it never really is) or glamour some of the Geta we got (from events aswell, so maybe you have them - if not, the mogstation might). -

The way they re-release past events is annoying, i missed getting the Rainmaker hairstyle for my Alt because it was in the "Prize claim I" category from the NPC (5000MGP) which i didn't find out until the event had just ended...
Have to wait many more months to get it :/ It would have been nice if they mentioned the hair was located from a vendor on the event site.
But all they said was:

I really hate how they put the past event items in the Mog Station. TBH those should be put into the Gold Saucer for MGP the following year to give people something to do with their MGP and breath some life into it.

I've actually found a piece I think will kinda work with it, but I'll have to change the highlights in my hairstyle or it'll clash with the dye I'll be using. I'm going to use the Gryphonskin Breastplate for the top and use the metallic blue dye for the whole ensemble, or maybe the Dalamud red dye. Probably switch my hair color to straight red either way. I'll post a pic when it's done.

So here's what I came up with, though I'm not sure on the color. It seems ok, except maybe the shoes. Those being the same as the rest seems kinda off, but making them red made the whole thing seem tacky. I may try the set with red in general or perhaps a black set.
