I don't really mind we have a lot of players s o i understand the reason for it top of that there new players joining our world each day. Disappointed we dont get an influx of new people.

Alot of my friends on Selbina are kinda disappointed. I'm really happy that throughout all this mess with the server merge, Selbina was completely left untouched. It means, no one competing for linkshell spots, no change to our servers economy, and our gaming community remains unchanged. I can get down with that.

Honestly though...they can do whatever they want so long as the RPers stay off of Ridill. When I was on Besaid, there was alot of public RP'ing, which is akin to forcing the non RPers to either deal with it or blacklist them. It's why I left the server in the end.

As I expected. Well I was neither trolling nor mad, nor am I an egoist; but again with your assumptions and opinions.

You're right though, I shouldn't waste my time thinking people like you can be talked to in even a remotely respectful manner.

You go to a renaissance festival, you expect people to talk in older tongue, and act a little archaic. You go to the store, you do not. Besaid wasn't an Official rp server, is was just made that by players, so when people public rp there are still non rp members there, and its akin to them playing in a renaissance festival, not everyday life. Dealing with public rping isn't even similar to just going out in public since when you go out in public you expect people to talk in an average way and act in a normal manner for the most part, or else society would fail. When you log on to an mmo you expect normal people, by public rping all the time you do alienate the people on the server who do not rp, that's logic, and that's fact, if you don't get that there's no hope. Nothing against people who rp though, they just deserved an official server for it so this problem wouldn't even occur.

No one even brought up alienation. It's been someone falsely claiming that others are somehow being forced to "deal with it" when someone RP's publicly. No one is being coerced into anything, so the idea they're being "forced" goes against all logic.

Wow. Glad I'm not on Selbina. People are tense haha, though I don't actually judge the entire server based off people here. Who is to decide what's "normal"? When you go out in public you are forced to deal with people with accents. Or people who act different then you. When you go to work your forced to deal with people who don't like the same things you do. Perhaps the RPs are forced to deal with assholes who insult and judge them because how they choose to play and talk. Whatever the case, I'll enjoy my diverse group of fun people on Sargantans, and I welcome with open arms those who would like to have fun on this game. Be them Jp, EU, RP or any other type of person who isn't a persecuting douche. :D

The only people I see being tense are the people from Besaid, and the only douche is Issachar and he isn't that bad once you get used to him =P

I guess I don't really care about RP'ers but I certainly wouldn't join an RP server unofficial or official. You may say it doesn't hurt people, but I've walked in a few too many "RP sessions" in Ru'Lewd Gardens to know I don't want anything to do with it. There are things that once seen, can never be unseen. Horrible, unnatural things...

Also saying that RP adds to the ambiance of the game isn't necessarily true and it can seriously detract from it. It is like if while watching a movie or TV show you were constantly bombarded with "fan fics" of highly varying degrees in quality and unusual sexual content. I have no problem with RP'ers doing what they want to either in private or in some secluded or designated RP location/ghetto. But if they were doing it say in the middle of ul'dah every day I would probably have to black list them, and I rarely black list anyone.
