Don't you think it is about time we get some new faces, eye shapes, noses, ears, eyebrows, scars, tattoos, face paint and more? Seems with as many people playing it is hard to have a unique character these days. I'd personally really appreciate it.

This would be nice, I second the motion, but would like to add the option to pick from sets of character animations like different walking/running animations and such.
I also second this idea. More customization options would be divine.
Id like at the very least to see some of the features the new npcs have. Garlean face types for highlander. Mixed race option (Hilda)/Aymeric face for elezens. In fact, every race should get at least one additional face type to make up for midlanders default SIX. Just saying.
Maybe afew slider systems? To really get that perfect look.
Also, maybe things such as birthmarks? Moles, beauty spots, maybe discoloration and possibly more scars- like maybe rake marks, bite marks or burns.
Maybe to layer face paint? I've always had to chose between eyelid blushing and freckles...
Id like to see the face paint expanded. currently we are only allowed to pick one look but if we could pick multiple looks in the face pain category it would allow for a little more personalization. especially for the girls who might want eye shadow and freckles rather then have to choose one or the other.
Also Please oh Please Make the highlights more vivid and pronounced. The muddy look of the colors which have varying degrees of visibility depending on the hair style is really bad. The colors should be sharper and more vivid.
Lastly did you see how the face pain colors jump from greens to purples. there is no line for true blues. This seems an over site. Please ad true blue colors into the face pain pallet.
it's like how long we have been begging for longer hairstyles we haven't even gotten that
And fix the issue to where , perfect example the brand new disciple of War add magic attire makes the females look completely flat chested regardless of how you have the scale for the chest size in the character creation but yet if you put a full body cowl on you could literally see the change they need to fix it to where 90% of the armor goes with how you created your character instead of the armor adjusting your character traits and like I said before would it kill them to add longer hairstyles waist-length we have been asking that for years and still not getting it I would it kill them to add some high heels
Every female miqote looks the same imo
You can really tell this game does not favor the female gender because no matter how you make your female characters chest so forth and so on they all still look absolutely flat-chested and basically look like a extremely feminine male because they have no long hairstyles are nothing to compliment the female body and I'm sorry not every female in the world are the same cup size and armor and clothing does not adjust our chest I mean I really feel that they seriously discriminate against females with that aspect making them all look one specific way and one specific way only when they give a slider that is supposed to adjust them accordingly to give some individuality they completely counteract that by making the chest size and all other features of a female adjusted by your armor instead of the actual slider
True true so true it's like animation for the female characters do you know the female animation for female characters only work inside a residence. , a inn or grand company barracks with a cowl on because it does not work outside in the real game
Basically insinuating that the only time a female's chest moves is in a bedroom how ironic
the character creation the way they are if you wish to even try to wear a bikini if you are too and go to the camera directly in front of your character you cannot even see that you would have a cleavage much less a actual chest why did they even put the slider in there when it does not affect anyting this game goes out of your way to make sure that you do not look like a true female the only female character that actually you could tell that was a female they killed off and removed out of the game and her name was minfilia and they went so far out a good way to make sure a true dainty girl was not in the game they killed her off they didn't even give her a true fighting style
I mean why can't females in the game have that type of body frame and heaven forbid if they actually give your character posterior dimensions
There are a lot of clothes in this game that favour female characters. Gorgeous dresses and lots of skirts.
I've seen more people make the opposite complaint - that there is too much feminine clothing, and not enough for males!
I don't think it's that bad in either direction, but there are definitely some gear pieces that could have had a nice masculine variation, but only have the one feminine design. (eg. the "sky pirate" mage outfits and "ruby cotton" healer dress.)
And while there are few extremely long hairstyles, there are plenty of feminine ones. You're clearly using one. So is my character.
Also I assure you that as a probably-rare example of someone who did set their female character's bust slider to zero (which is still not quite flat-chested), there is a definite and noticable difference between how shirts and dresses look on my character compared to people using a higher setting.
If you want to actually see the difference it makes, you can do that in the character creator. Start a new character, go through the stages to where you pick a job for them, set it to display them in their job gear, then backtrack to the character customisation. Adjust the bust slider and you can directly see the gear change shape in response.
I haven't even noticed that.
It's possible that they are able to have more detailed physics operating in these areas because the game doesn't need to be thinking about other players or enemies or all the other things it has to be displaying in larger, busier zones.
Minfilia has not been killed off. She is clearly 'alive' in her aetherial state, possibly an equivalent opposite to Elidibus, and was sent on a task by Hydaelyn. It seemed fairly clear to me that she was being set up to return at a later part of the story.
I'm also fairly sure we see her fighting as a pugilist during the "rescue from Castrum Centri" quest. But mostly her importance to the Scions was as a diplomat and organiser - not a glamourous fighting role, but a critical one for an organisation!
And it is literally impossible to set up a character with her body shape. At a game level, it's built into her dress - including the Mog Station version that players can equip.
According to some...research from a reddit post, the jiggle physics don't function properly if you play the game with unrestricted FPS (This goes for all things affected by them, not just chests).
I personally haven't seen any difference in how they function in crowded/uncrowded areas while running at 60 FPS.
Everytime I go to sleep, this is what I dream of, I read that they couldn't let us change eyebrow colour because of PS3 limitations, now that PS3 has been thrown out the window are you guys hopeful that we will at last be able to not look like a highlander male hyur with light hair?
