Launcher Installation glitching

I am having an issue with installing the launcher for the game. I am getting it off of the official website and I get to the Region and Language select and I select my region and language which is north america and I hit accept. Then it goes to the loading bar right after that and then it goes back to the Region and Language select and won't let me go past no matter what I do. I have tried everything including entering a ticket and nothing has worked. If someone can tell me how to upload a video to this then I can post a video showing it.

The installer and the executables that get installed dont request windows for proper administration access for some reason.

Find the installation directory, and set the properties of them (there should be 3 in total) To run as administrator.

okay so there are multiple things that I need to run as admin thanks I'll try it

okay i found the folder and I think I am missing a file

it did not work

Where exactly did you download the client from? Can you provide the link?

I'm assuming you've tried to delete the client and everything it partially installed then tried redownloading, correct?

Have you double-checked your anti-virus? Could that be interfering with the installation?

https://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/playersdownload/na/ is where I downloaded it from and I have tried deleting and re-downloading several times and I have completely disabled my anti-virus and it still doesn't work

I have also emailed customer support about it and they haven't responded yet

so i fixed it by my friend sending me his game files and putting those on my computer. I unfortunately lost almost if not over a week worth of subscription time due to this issue and I am unsure if I will keep going with ff14 especially when I get a new computer and have to try reinstalling and I have played ff14 on and of since a realm reborn came out so it is honestly a shame that such an issue has happened

My assumption is that either your browser or your anti-virus/firewall was interfering with the file, but I can't tell for certain. I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue.
