Has to be one of the worst encounters ever for the casual to mid level player. It's fine until the Lar/Starboard part and then he flips and it is sometimes hard from certain angles to see where his pinhead is. Just a couple of seconds more to give ppl time to move would help. If I ever manage to complete this cf, it will be 1 x only hehe.

If you move to his rear, his face will point right at you and youll have that extra second to run to the correct place. Good luck!Quote:

And then there's the fact he follows up facing the opposite direction. So I'm like, she's doing the same attack, I'll stay here. Or oh it's the opposite attack, better move. You can also sprint out of the bad area if you’re quick enough. I find this fight easier than Alphascape 2 which is horrible when the firebombs fall.

I think the issue is more that people are waiting for the ground indicator before they start moving. You need to move when the cast bar shows up. By the time the indicator shows up it's pretty much already too late.

What you can do to make it easier is pivot your camera around when he faces you; i.e. look at your character's face. That way you always dodge relatively to your right or left. Otherwise, you simply have to memorize the patterns.
Larboard/Starboard -> Larboard/Starboard = Dodge right, then left
Starboard/ -> Larboard = Dodge left, stay put
Larboard -> Starboard = Dodge right, stay put -

Generally I don't have an issue with star/lar, but then I'm usually tanking and if not I'm in sword oath smacking Omega's butt. I could see it being more annoying for a range dps potentially if you're not positioned well to get into either potential safe zone quickly.
Really though I wish they named it Starboard and Port. I guess it kinda makes sense larboard is an antiquated term and Omega is really old. But at the same time, there are times where I have to squint to double check which cannon is being fired, and it would be easier to immediately tell if they used Port instead of Larboard.
The only thing still vexing me is how do those bombs that can paralyze you work? I should look up a guide for the fight. -

1. Lar = safe, Star = move.
2. If he uses the same one again, move.
