What is with them adding 3 straight male only outfits and no female or unisex outs to the Mogstation. I see they sure don't want any money from female characters or they stop these stupid gender locking outfits and make them all unisex.

I'm certainly not against them making things unisex (and that's really the ideal solution to this issue), but I'm pretty sure the complaint for a long while has been that the game is really heavily biased towards female fashion. Having a bunch of male outfits could be seen as a way of balancing the equation a little bit.
Right now pretty sure males have more outfits than the females. All the veteran reward outfits was done after guy characters. Just tell me there pretty dumb by making them gender locked only. Guess be giving my money to another mmo this month for outfit since SE decided not to bring one out they could use. Last month was Hien outfit then before that the Hildabrand outfit. I did count and there is at least 3 more male outfits than there is female outfits on Mogstation right now.
Seems other way around to me. Looks to me that there very biased to female characters since there is way more male outfits on Mogstation than female outfits. If they add outfits they should be for both genders and not just one. Otherwise there sure going to loose a lot of money that they could have made.

So yeah, it's 9 vs 6.
Just give it time? We still have Yugiri 1, Yugiri 2, Yotsuyu, Krille(?), uh who else do we have?
edit: oh wait, Yugiri's 2 is just Ninja's equipments with recolored.
I'm more concerned about the fact that it took them over a year to realize the RMTers were exploiting a security flaw in Mogstation to upgrade the accounts of their gil spam/farm bots for free, despite the fact that they've been mass-banning them for months and they were abusing the same exploit every single time they've resurfaced.
This really seems to suggest that there's rather significant amounts of miscommunication between the development team/customer service, or perhaps a lack of it entirely.

Yup..........
They still should be counted as part of having a female outfit. The OP is angry that 3 male only outfits were added while we're disregarding all of the other female stuff besides the female only outfits. It's a bit disingenuous on their end.
You can't just conveniently ignore something from not being there simply because it's not "female only" and doesn't work with their initial narrative. It's a female option regardless.
I mean, the disparity on the mogstation between male and female outfits would still exist. This would change nothing.
And I agree with them on the fact that all of the veteran reward outfits were for male characters. They could have done what they did with the ffx outfits, one for each gender.
Well, you're right that the disparity will always be there. But, let's take into perspective that the veteran rewards were set in stone upon the game's first launching. The FFX outfits came at a much later date for the fanfest. I'm going to estimate that in the very beginning, they didn't think at the time it was needed to have a balancing of both in regards towards the veteran outfits being from popular male characters, and that most players would enjoy and like it either way. I mean, Squall's jacket doesn't look that bad on females anyways and neither does the Wild Rose body piece either. Then, they realized that it would be better to offer Tidus and Yuna towards the masses because I can't imagine a whole lot of female characters pulling off Tidus's initial look and vice versa.
Would it be nice if they added the female outfits of the protagonists that respectively go with the male veteran ones? Sure, no argument there. But, who knows when that'll ever happen.
I'm sure people want to use Tifa, Aerith, Rinoa, Lulu, Terra, Yuffie, etc... glamour, but who on earth knows at this point. They might give us them when they start running out of ideas.
To be fair, it simply looks like SE is doing the copy/paste outfit run of their popular in-game expansion hero characters, though the only major female character that I can think of that's popular was a villian up until a certain point. When or if they make her outfit available, I have no idea; though I can bet an entire case of beer that if/when it comes out, a lot of females will be wearing it.
Thankfully, at least this isn't Tera, where a majority of the outfits in the cash shop are geared toward females, especially the Elin. And the outfits here don't severely butcher the feet of a single race, or even lop off body parts to fit.
So we just gon not talk about the quality of female glamours and how they look compared to Male ones? I mean. Quaintrelle vs Boulevardier. Spring Attire from Gold Saucer. Rakshasa Healer/Caster on males vs on Females, How the Best Man's Attire is Unisex but the Bridesmaid isnt, How long Bunny Suits were female exclusive, how ao dai looks better on women than it does men, Thavnarian Sets being Female Exclusive, and the list continues.
but I mean hey, Males have to pay for their good glamours. I wish I had it as good as female characters
A lot of y’all got tricked. This is obviously BAIT.
you can't even dye those so idk why people keep buying them. Disposable income and lack of common sense must be nice to have.
Male, female, who cares, just let me put them in the armoire so I'm not paying to lose 5 inventory slots every time.
Maybe with these replies SE will change there ways and make all glamours for both genders and make it so can store them in armoire also make it so can buy replacements from same npc can buy past event gear from. But bet it be to much work for them to do. Can only hope it happen one day.
Let everyone wear everything....
I don't care if male characters will be allowed to wear dresses.
It does change something, it would completely invalidate this post
it makes "no female or unisex" a false statement.
Besides they are just NPC outfits, we just happen to have more major male NPCs than female, NPC outfits shouldn't even be part of the argument.
Seriously?
Maybe take a look at the sheer number of quality female only glamor items in the game vs the number of male only ones. Mogstation or not, the majority of male only glams are pretty lame.
THIS. For crying out loud SE just let people have all options from this point on, and slowly work on your backlog of gender-locked crap. I have friends with male characters that would love dress and skirt options.
I have a male roe who rocks the bunny tights like no ones business, while I also have my female lala who I tend to dress with more "masculine" attire, but keep getting locked out of the outfits I would love to have on both(she's a samurai even so ticks me off I'm out for this new outfit).
Can we please just drop the gender-locking and stop stifling peoples creative options?
Honestly as a female player that also plays a female character i do not mind there being some male-only outfits i mean it been very female focus outfits alot of the time it good to have some male-only outfits there always be uni-sex ones at some point as well. i know a lot of the male player base plays females but they should be happy that their gender of character get's some nice outfits as well. but this is only my opinion :3
Maybe we should get Yugiri's outfit.
