I too hope he has a swift recovery. He has put his heart and soul into so many wonderful songs, and certainly deserves some rest. Thank you for your hard work, and get well soon Uematsu-sensei.

That is unfortunate and I hope the break he takes helps him recover.

But that article is flat out wrong about him composing the soundtrack for Chrono Trigger. I wish people would look into something for just one minute instead of trying to be the first to get an article up about it.

The full thing? No, of course he didn't. He did, however finish it after his friend, Yasunori Mitsuda, had to step away from the project due to stomach ulcers.

I hope he recovers swiftly and takes some time once well again to relax and enjoy himself. I've enjoyed his music immensely over the years and went to Distant Worlds for the first time in London last year, so I was lucky enough to see him with my own two eyes. He was very humble and friendly, with his passion for his work coming across as very genuine.

Was reading a report from Polygon while ago and he said he he's just going to take it easy and relax rest for the rest of this year so and will try to get back into activity next year no doubt that will of course depends on how he's feeling.
