I know there have been statements like "We are considering this" and "We think it might be fun to do in the distant future", but is this actual factual confirmation? Are we getting a Golden Saucer?

This would be some of the most exciting news we could have possibly hoped for. This game is in severe need of side content that gives Players a nice place to Socialize and have some nice relaxing fun.

What do you think? Are we going to get our Golden Saucer? Or will this be years in the making?

what made me get more excited is the fact of content from previous FF titles

I'm excited, because this would be the Best Possible way for them to Build a Card Game in to FFXIV. Start it at the Saucer and let it spread throughout the world. ^.^

I bet this will have Chocobo Races to, hopefully integrated into the Chocobo Breeding System.

yeah, I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in either one of the last producer letters, or some random dev post that they were looking into adding something like a Gold Saucer where there would be minigames. So this is not surprising to me lol.

Yeah, i remember him saying that one of the problems that needs to be overcome will be the sense of 'gambling'. Im sure he will come up with a solution.

I'd rather it not be called the gold saucer, honestly. Give it a new name. It could have the same concept, but give it a new name.

I thought Yoshi already confirmed Gold Saucer a few months ago in some buried post.
I can't remember the exact words but it was something like, 'we want to do it, but won't have it ready for launch'.

I'm excited at this as well. The idea of bringing content from previous FF games is pretty cool.

It would be freaking epic! I'm sure it's still a ways off but I will be looking forward to it.

Speaking of Golden Saucer...I hope we get to snowboard again!

Just imagine spotting the Crystal Tower or Golden Saucer creeping over the horizon. Would/Will be epic.

I think SE already confirmed there will be a casino in the future. But it'll likely be well after 2.0 is released if we see it.

i hope we get to participate in the chocobo races and not just that, against other players not NPCs that wld pwn ^^.
